The Pumpkinheads are the major antagonists of the horror TV show The Haunting Hour. They are the children that have been missing in Halloween night and are the children of the evil farmer Palmer.
They are portrayed by Dan Pelchat and by Ponnie Matin and by Matt Phillips in their first villainess roles.
While not much is known about them or their real names, only one pumpkin was; they are pumpkin-like monsters —zombies that kill and transform their trespassers into one of them. The only survivor, Dave, went to the police station, arrested their father, and placed him in prison as punishment for his crimes of kidnapping. He ended up dying in prison, and the Pumpkinheads felt abandoned after his death. It’s revealed that they don’t like it when people make fun of him, and it makes them angry.
They first appear in doubt in the Pumpkinheads. One began following the trespassers and brought two pumpkin monsters with him. At night, while they are in the house, the pumpkin monsters kidnap Scott and take him to the barn. Allie and Dave try to find him. Allie goes inside, and one of the monsters starts to chase her. Farmer Palmer reveals that his pumpkins kill trespassers, and that he is one of them. They all walk towards Allie, causing her to scream in horror. The scene shows her going to the car while Dave is asleep, unaware. Finally, it is revealed that she was turned into a pumpkin monster, and the episode ends.
