Pupdozers are hostile species found in the 2010 video game Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are spined tardigrade-like creatures that are defeated by ground-pounding their bellies through flipping manholes. They are led by their queen, Glamdozer, and are found only in Flipsville Galaxy.
History[]
Super Mario Galaxy 2[]
Pupdozers are only seen in Flipsville Galaxy. They seem to intimidate the Toad Brigade, who refuse to proceed through the galaxy due to their presence. Mario/Luigi are able to utilise the galaxy's gravitational pulls by going underneath the Pupdozers. When the Pupdozer walks over a manhole, Mario/Luigi are able to ground pound it, which defeats regular Pupdozers instantly, producing a coin.
Later in the level, Mario/Luigi encounter Glamdozer, the leader of the Pupdozers. Glamdozer defends herself by spitting lava balls at Mario/Luigi, but is defeated the same way by attacking her belly three times.
Members[]
Regular Pupdozers[]
Regular pupdozers are yellow with blue spines. They cause damage from walking into the player, or from Mario/Luigi jumping on their backs and landing on their spines. They seem to be influenced by tardigrades (or waterbears).
