Puranus is a minor antagonist of the anime King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final. It is the counterpart of TenRyuuJin and its name is based on the planet Uranus.
Appearance[]
Puranus is a mech that resembles a golden, female knight with a thin body. It seems to wear a horned helmet with a pale blue cape behind it. It also holds a red spear and carries a transparent shield.
Biography[]
Puranus made its appearance when it was watching Palparepa fighting Guy Shishioh, with Palparepa ended up victorious. Later, Puranus would made its second appearance as its was releasing Sol Waves to destroy the G-Crystal and Guy's GaiGar, but due to the awakening of the GaoMachines, the Sol Waves were reflected. Then GaoMachines later carried out Final Fusion with GaiGar, resulting in the formation of Genesic GaoGaiGar. After this, Puranus, along with other mechanical Planetary Masters, uncloaked themselves as they were ready to gang up on Genesic GaoGaiGar.
However, before Puranus could strike, the GGG arrived with their Mobile Units, causing Palus Abel to order her Planetary Masters to retreat and separate the Mobile Units away from each other. Puranus then lured AnRyuu and KouRyuu into following her to Repli-Greece.
At first, AnRyuu tried to blast Puranus with missiles while KouRyuu blasted Puranus with lasers, but Puranus easily blocked the attack with its shield before countering by firing its own blast at them. KouRyuu and AnRyuu, after recovering from the attack, carried out Symmetrical Docking to become TenRyuuJin, easily confusing Puranus with missiles that blocked its sensor and later used the skill Dance of Light and Darkness to blast Puranus with beams from every direction. In utter confusion, Puranus fired its spear to TenRyuuJin, only to miss and hit a rock instead. TenRyuuJin then used this opening to slice Puranus in half with their blade.
However, after Puranus, along with other fallen Planetary Masters, were revived by Pisa Sol under the order of Palus Abel, it was able to catch TenRyuuJin off guard and fired its chest-mounted beam to slice off TenRyuuJin's arms and weapons, later even impaling TenRyuuJin with its spear. Thus, AnRyuu and KouRyuu dedocked and they both sacrificed themselves to destroy Puranus with their Built-in Projectile-X system.
Later, Puranus, just like other fallen Planetary Masters, would be revived and replicated by Pisa Sol again, with a squad of Puranus surrounding AnRyuu and KouRyuu. However, once Pisa Sol and the Pas-Q Machine were taken out by Guy Shishioh with the Goldion Crusher, all copies of Puranus faded out of existence.
