Purple is the supporting antagonist in the Roblox horror game Rainbow Friends, appearing as a minor antagonist in Chapter 1 and a major antagonist in Chapter 2.

Appearance

Purple has big cartoony eyes, a circular head, and purple stretchable arms. Their jumpscare shows them having sharp teeth.

Their full appearance in official merchandise reveals that they have a slender body with four long limbs with hand-like appendages and a flat face that conceals their mouth, explaining how their face fits against the vent and yet also is still hidden.

Behaviour

Judging by the fact that they move through vents with their body mostly hidden, it's possible that Purple has a shy nature. Other than that, there isn't much about them other than their murderous nature.

Seen in a old group photo, Purple seems to have always preffered to stay in vents. However, it can be expected that he, together with the other Rainbow Friends, didn't attack people back then.

Biography

Chapter 1: The Facility

Purple becomes a threat starting from Night 3 on. They move from vent to vent, and if a player walks in front of them, Purple will grab and kill them.

Chapter 2: Odd World

During Chapter 2, Purple stays in its attraction Odd World, known as Purple's Lair. They will chase the player when they are in its path and will kill them upon contact.

Trivia

• It is possible to get killed by Purple in the final night of the game, which can happen if the player falls through the vents at the Goodbye Party.
• Purple's full model has not been revealed yet, making them the only character whose full appearance is (so far) only shown in official merchandise.
• Purple, along with Green and Cyan are the only enemies who can kill a player if they're hiding with a box.
• Their name is actually never spoken, however, the sign for Purple's lair confirms their name.
  • This makes them one of three Rainbow Friends whose name is never explicitly said, alongside the Scientist and Yellow.
• Purple is the only Rainbow Friend whose gender is unknown.
