Zebediah Killgrave, commonly known as the Purple Man, is a minor antagonist in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, serving as the main antagonist in the episode "Emperor Stark."
He is a dangerous criminal with purple skin and powerful mind control abilities who seeks to take over the World and control people.
He was locked up in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s high-security prison, The Raft, but he managed to escape during the Breakout, like every other prisoner. Some time later he attacked a restaurant, but was defeated by Tony Stark and arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D. again.
Taking over the World[]
Nevertheless, Kilgrave manages to escape again and decides to take revenge on Iron Man. He enters the Stark Tower, where he uses his powers to gain control over Stark's assistant, Pepper Potts. He forces her to deactivate all audio and video recordings in the building and to bring him to Stark. After Kilgrave is brought to Tony, he puts him under his control as well and uses Stark's influence and resources in the following, to extend his influence over the whole world. He has Tony Stark activate a satellite that broadcasts Kilgrave's mind control to the entire earth and thus subjugates the entire world population to his control. Only Vision wasn't affected by his powers.
Vision would start freeing each Avenger from Kilgrave's control starting with Captain America. The two would later free the other Avengers and destroy Kilgrave's satelite, resulting in his arrest and defeat.
