Pursuer is a playable killer and major antagonist in the 2025 Roblox multiplayer asymmetrical horror game Die of Death.
He is an enigmatic and ruthless predator that stalks his victims. An extremely ravenous beast with a seemingly bottomless appetite, Pursuer hunts down the Civilians, taking advantage of his superior speed, strength and stalking skills to rush down and kill his preys with utmost persistence.
Appearance[]
Pursuer is inspired by old Roblox horror models, as such, he has a typical Robloxian body, with a dark skin tone, and is described as not having any fur. His body has a grainy texture, giving off the impression of a coarse and rough flesh. His face is entirely white, and has the Ahenobarbus Henocied face in a teal-green shade.
Living off his classic Robloxian horror game parody, he has stiff movement and a poorly cropped Ahenobarbus Henocied decal face.
Personality[]
Pursuer is from a species of unknown origins. While most of his personality is unclear, from his actions alone, Pursuer can be described as being highly persistent, as he doesn't stop at anything to get to his prey, often overwhelming them with his raw speed and chasing them down. In spite of his animalistic nature, Pursuer is highly strategic and patient at times, stalking his victims while invisible and making quick work of them, taking advantage of their oblivious state.
Pursuer is surprisingly intelligent, and is capable of learning even the harmonica, which he stole from one of his victims after killing said victim. Pursuer is also capable of understanding dangers, and what he is, or is not capable of. Such as, avoiding and despising water after he nearly drowned to death when he was little.
Pursuer also has a dietary habit, and only looks out for what he deems "Fresh Meat", the flesh a living being which he very recently killed. After one or two bites, it would be deem the meat "Unfresh" before discarding of it and continuing to hunt for his next meal. It is also implied that Pursuer enjoys evoking fear in his victims, and enjoys terrifying them before killing them, showing that he has traces of sadism.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Invisibility: Pursuer is able to become invisible via Stalk, that also increases his speed.
- Weapon Mastery: Pursuer carries a black sword on his back, used for making sharp cuts.
- Enhanced Speed: Pursuer is pretty fast and can hunt down civilians very easily. His speed can be increased via Stalk.
- Enchanced Strenght: Pursuer is know by being very strong physically, being able to defeat a civilian with a few punches.
- Enhanced Durability: Pursuer is able to withstand punches and gunshots easily.
- Hand-To-Hand Combat: As an apex predator, Pursuer relies heavily on its arms to defeat civilians.
- Enraged Howl: Pursuer can unleash a furious howl that slows civilians down at an large range.
- Bloodlust: Pursuer eats fresh meat and kills people without any remorse.
- Stealth: Pursuer can stalk people very easily.
Backstory[]
While not much is known about his backstory, when Pursuer is little, he used to hunt for fish in the lakes, but ended up almost drowning. Even though he caught a fish, Pursuer doesn't seem to like it and thinks it tastes bad. So now Pursuer refuses to swim after the drowning incident, and will never learn how to swim. He also will just keep hunting for regular meat and not seafood since he doesn't like fish.
At some point his home was raided by the military, he was able to defeat them and obtain a sword.
Trivia[]
- Pursuer is canonically a male.
- His chase theme, Starvation V3, is a remix of the song, Clair de Lune, and his chase theme in FORSAKEN is a remix of Starvation V3.
- Pursuer's chase theme has a harmonica in it, referencing his ability to play the harmonica.
- He stole the harmonica from one of his victims, and he learned to play it in his free time, since he liked it because he thinks "it makes funny noises".
