Qitian Dasheng is a minor antagonist in Dragalia Lost. He serves as the main antagonist of the "Echoes of Antiquity" raid event. He is the form taking by Wu Kong upon being possessed by the Jin Gu Er.
Appearance[]
Qitian Dasheng is a lot bigger than Wu Kong, being the size of most raid bosses. He has red marks across his body, and while his hair is the same color as Wu Kong's, it is also a lot longer. He also sports a monkey tail and has a pair of cuffs around his wrists.
Biography[]
Echoes of Antiquity[]
In a desperate effort to prove to Xuan Zang that he is ready to progress in his training, Wu Kong puts on the Jin Gu Er which they had recently acquired. However, he doesn't realize the dangers as the relic takes control of him and turns him into a fiend by the name of Qitian Dasheng.
With Wu Kong possessed and transformed, Xuan Zang is forced to fight her pupil with help from the Halidom party. After a brutal fight, Wu Kong reverts back to normal, ashamed of what happened. He becomes more upset with how guilty he makes Xuan Zang feel. Unknown to both of them though, the Jin Gu Er still had a grasp on Wu Kong, and it controls him into putting it back on, turning him back into Qitian Dasheng.
Xuan Zang takes notice of how desperately hard Wu Kong tries to fight the influence, but Qitian Dasheng refuses to let him win. Xuan Zang believes that the only way to free Wu Kong is to end his life, but the Halidom party convinces her to keep fighting until the influence is completely gone. Eventually, the Jin Gu Er loses its grip on Wu Kong, allowing the sealer in training to become human again.
Timeworn Torment[]
The party hadn't forgotten how the Jin Gu Er turned Wu Kong into Qitian Dasheng, so when Wu Kong comes to them about it and a fiend named Mei Hou Wang, they offer to help him out.
When Mei Hou Wang's memories and power reawaken, his appearance is similar to that of Qitian Dasheng, being a different color and being more muscular.
Near the end of the event, Wu Kong puts the Jin Gu Er on again in order to save and redeem Mei Hou Wang. As he wears it, he doesn't lose control, indicating that Qitian Dasheng will never become a problem again.
