Queen Maleficent is the main antagonist of the Disney book Once Upon A Dream: A Twisted Tale.
Biography[]
At the beginning, Maleficent told a story of how, apparently, King Stefan and Queen Leah were bad rulers and treated Aurora like a servant, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather were wicked fairies and that she (Maleficent) saved the kingdom from their tyranny by locking them up, killing them and appointing herself as the new Queen, "and they all lived happily ever after".
Later, Queen Maleficent had custody of Princess Aurora, who dreamt the whole reality, and had thrown many parties, but Aurora teamed up with Prince Phillip and overthrew Maleficent, with Aurora becoming the new Queen.
Trivia[]
- One nickname for this version of Maleficent is "the Evil Queen", similar to how Queen Grimhilde in Mirror Mirror: A Twisted Tale was also given that nickname.
