The Queen Witch, also known as the Head Witch, is the main antagonist of the eighth episode of Primal.
She is a powerful primitive witch who possesses incredible supernatural abilities and practices ancient forms of magic, guiding and commanding a group of fellow witches who also specialize in ancient rituals. She is the archenemy of Lula.
Appearance[]
The Queen Witch is a tall, silver-haired, slender young woman. Although she has a human-like figure, she shows no sign of being one since her face has no visible mouth or nose, but just with big green glowing eyes. However, she can create a mouth full of sharp teeth when she expresses anger. Her skin is pale white while she wears a black dress and holds a staff.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Dark Magic: As the coven's leader, the Queen Witch possesses exceptional expertise in the art of magic, harnessing an array of spells that grant her the power to shape and mold reality in accordance with her desires.
- Shapeshifting: She possesses the remarkable ability to transform her physical form into that of any living creature, be it a demon or even a towering wolf of immense proportions.
- Soul Transferal: After the sacred rune symbols are carefully positioned upon the male sacrifice, the Queen Witch, having undergone a powerful metamorphosis into her fearsome demon shape, possesses the extraordinary ability to conjure a spell of mystical serpents. By harnessing her arcane powers, she commands these ethereal snakes to venture within the male's being and absorb his very essence, leaving behind only a desiccated husk as a grotesque testament to their malevolent interaction.
- Sentient Life Creation: Once she has consumed the souls of her male victims while in her demonic state, she undergoes a remarkable transformation by reincarnating them as precious baby girls within her own womb, ultimately bestowing one of these newborns upon a loyal follower of hers.
- Mind Control: The Queen Witch possesses the ability to command a Pteranodon as her trusted companion, utilizing its formidable strength and aerial prowess. In a remarkable demonstration of her supernatural powers, she is capable of perceiving the world from the perspective of the majestic creature, witnessing events and surroundings through its keen eyesight.
Personality[]
The Queen Witch's motivations are unclear and open to interpretation, as she is depicted bestowing young girls upon her coven for upbringing. It is uncertain whether this act stems from a kind-hearted nature or if it serves a more sinister agenda. Apart from this enigmatic behavior, she exhibits a propensity for easily becoming agitated and imposes severe consequences on those who oppose her.
She exhibits a strong drive to safeguard and uphold the unity of her coven, going to great lengths to ensure its survival. However, it is plausible that she harbors certain biases against men, potentially leading her to recycle their souls in order to generate fresh generations of female offspring who can join her tribe. Interestingly, she does not display typical maternal instincts, as she entrusts the upbringing of children to her followers instead of taking on the responsibility herself.
Although she appears to be distant and heartless, the Queen Witch does display a certain level of affection towards her Pteranodon companion, as evidenced by her extreme fury when Lula causes harm to it.
Biography[]
Background[]
Prior to the advent of Spear and Fang, the Queen Witch had been engaging in the creation of progeny for her loyalists by harnessing the life force of cavemen, who were forcefully abducted by the witches, in order to employ them as sacrificial offerings during the witches' ritualistic ceremonies.
Primal[]
Just as the intensity of the ritual reached its peak, a majestic sight unfolded before their eyes. The Queen Witch, riding atop a magnificent Pteranodon, swooped down from the sky and landed gracefully on a nearby hill. With a sense of authority, she approached the wailing caveman, her form shifting and contorting into an eerie, demon-like manifestation. In this terrifying guise, the Queen Witch absorbed the very essence of the caveman, draining him of life force until he was nothing more than a withered husk. Using this raw energy, she conjured a newborn girl, whom she entrusted to one of her loyal followers to raise as their own. The dark magic at play was both mesmerizing and chilling. With a sinister glint in her eyes, the Queen Witch ordered her devoted coven to launch a relentless attack against Spear and Fang. Their sole purpose was to capture Spear, their next sacrificial offering. The air was thick with tension as the two companions found themselves pitted against the formidable forces of darkness, their lives hanging in the balance. On a dark and eerie night, Spear and Fang found themselves deep in the heart of the dense, untamed jungle. Unbeknownst to them, a group of wicked witches were conducting a sinister and excruciating ritual nearby. Their captive was a bearded caveman, his anguished cries piercing through the thick jungle air. It was at this pivotal moment that the Queen Witch's keen senses alerted her to the presence of intruders. Through the eyes of her loyal Pteranodon companion, she spotted Spear and Fang, observing her wicked deeds from the shadows. In an instant, the Queen Witch reverted back to her original form and issued a command to her followers.
As night fell on the following day, the Queen Witch made her return to proceed with the ritual involving Spear. However, before she could go through with sacrificing him, both she and the other witches were startled by the piercing screeches of a Pteranodon. To their astonishment, Lula, a former loyal follower of the head witch, swiftly took down the creature from its perch using Spear's spear. Lula then cleverly employed her mind control over Fang, enabling her to release Spear from the clutches of Stonehenge. This unexpected turn of events left the Queen Witch seething with anger, causing her to transform into a colossal wolf and launch a vicious attack on Fang. Yet, Lula, taking the form of a raven, descended from her perch and managed to divert the leader's attention, granting Spear and Fang the opportunity to escape deep into the depths of the jungle. Unfortunately, Lula's bravery ultimately led to her downfall as the Queen Witch ultimately overpowered her and inflicted punishment for her treachery. The fate of the Queen Witch remains a mystery, although it is widely believed that she resumed her gruesome task of conducting further sacrificial rituals.

Trivia[]
- The Queen Witch stands as the very first antagonist in the series who has managed to triumphantly achieve her objectives.
- In her "default" form, she bears a striking resemblance to the iconic grey aliens often associated with extraterrestrial beings. This intriguing resemblance suggests the possibility that she could be of extraterrestrial origin herself. Drawing inspiration from Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian saga, which itself derives influence from Lovecraft's mythical tales, it is conceivable that she belongs to the esteemed lineage of Great Old Ones, much like Nyarlathotep.
- Alternatively, she might be a deity or demon revered and worshipped by her devoted followers. Another plausible explanation is that she was once a human, but over time, the forces of magic have contorted and transmuted her essence to such an extent that her humanity has become questionable, if not entirely diminished.
- The Queen Witch's demon form bears a striking resemblance to that of a grey alien, leading to speculation that she could potentially be an otherworldly being or a deity worshipped by her loyal followers.
- It is conceivable that she might have started out as a human being, but her magic has undergone such profound distortions and mutations that she has become something other than human, or perhaps just barely recognizable as one.
