Querehsha is a major antagonist in the dark fantasy Korean manhwa and light novel series, Solo Leveling. She is the Monarch of Plagues and the Queen of Insects
Personality[]
Querehsha is arrogant and enjoys claiming the lives of other living beings. This, however, is not the case toward the monsters that she summons, viewing them as her children and her as their mother.
Biography[]
Japan Crisis Arc[]
Alongside the Iron Body Monarch, and the Beast Monarch, they appear within the home of the nationa American hunter Christopher Reed as he guesses the presence of someoneo else. The Beast Monarch and Querehsha observes Christopher from behind in the hall. The Iron Monarch comments that he will gain nothing for going easy on humans. Confused, Christopher asks what is he talking about. The Monarch replies that he is not referring to him, but to the one up there connected to him. Christopher declares that one of them will definitely die by his hand as he transforms into his spiritual form. Surprised, Querehsha and her comrade comments on how a human can manifest a spiritual form. The man subsequently dies at their hand, where his body was eventually found by some other humans.
Monarchs War Arc[]
The Monarchs are all gathered by the Frost Monarch who requests his comardes to assist him in defeating Sun Jinwoo, Ashborn's vessel. With the refusal of the Monarch of Transfiguration and the Iron Monarch, Querehsha quickly accept to offer him her help.
A course of days later, a battle take place against Jinwoo against the Beast Monarch at Seoul. Querehsha and the Frost Monarch joins the battle. The battle continues with Querehsha sending an army of undead at Jinwoo before being attacked by a giant ice golem of the Frost Monarch to which he dodges them all.
Querehsha sends a mana hand at him but misses after he was attacked by the Beast Monarch. Beru then furiously joins the battle, cursing on Querehsha attacking his lord, Jinwoo. Querehsha comments that a rude child that does not recognize their mother should be punished as she sends a mana attack the insect who counters the attack, cursing her. Beru swiftly tears off the undead that attacks him as he addresses to Jinwoo. Querehsha manages to send one of her mana hands at Jinwoo, sending him against the wall right before a rain of ice spikes are showered at him.
Eventually, Jinwoo is injured as he gets slashed by the Beast Monarch, that caused Beru to be panicked. Declaring herself as the mother of insects, she seizes Beru as the Beast Monarch takes care of Jinwoo. Seeing his master seemingly defeated, Beru fusiously transform into an awakening form and destroys the Frost Monarch's Golem. The Monarch are shocked to see Jinwoo recovering. As the battle goes on, Jinwoo surprises Querehsha from behind as she attempts to attack Beru. Upon recovering from Jinwoo's cut, Querehsha curses at Jinwoo as he states that poison has no effect on him before furiously charging toward at the hunter. With Ruler's Authority, Jinwoo counters blocks her before slashing her countless pieces as he activates his Mutilation skill. Realizing that she is meeting her demise, she comments how a glorious darkness it is for her to feel as she explodes.
