QuickMan.EXE is a minor antagonist in the Mega Man Battle Network series. He was one of MegaMan.EXE's rivals and a partner of Speedy Dave.
Biography[]
Mega Man Network Transmission[]
In this game, he appears as a Navi infected with the Zero Virus. He hacks into and attacks a bank network. However, Lan and MegaMan stop him, and even remark afterwards that he did not pose a great challenge at all.
Mega Man Battle Network 2[]
Lan and MegaMan first go after QuickMan when Dave tells them that the detonation program is in his PET and challenges them to find and stop it while confidently boasting that they can't do it. Soon after, Lan and MegaMan find QuickMan, who wants to explode as soon as he sees them. Dave suggests that, as they're kids, Lan and MegaMan should be taught a quick lesson. QuickMan battles them, and upon losing, reveals that he IS the detonation program, and that deleting him started the countdown for the dam which Dave wanted to blow up. However, at the very last second, ProtoMan jacks in, deleting QuickMan properly and deactivating him before he has a chance to set the bombs off. He later appears in this game towards the end, though his AI is completely controlled by Gospel with the only purpose being to delete MegaMan. He loses this encounter and is not seen again in the games.
Mega Man NT Warrior[]
He appears with Speedy Dave in this incarnation, and is given slightly more personality. He is ordered to attack a dam in this version too, though this attack involves messing with the turbines to destroy the dam. He begins to do it, though he doesn't go through with it, as this threat is actually a call to action, mainly aimed at the people in charge of the dam, to take better care of the environment. As he bails out, CutMan.EXE arrives on the scene to actually do the job as Grave has actually ordered. QuickMan fixes the turbines, as his goal is not to cause any actual damage. After this episode, Dave and QuickMan flee the scene to avoid getting arrested for a destruction threat or caught for treason by Grave.
