“ | What have I done? WHAT HAVE I DONE?! I have removed a destructive force from your country's system. But what you have done here cannot be undone. What you have taken from this world in one reckless, selfish moment, can never be replaced. I tried to control you, to spare you. But stand on my way now and you will die with those you try to protect. Any mercy I had——Any thought I had of preserving you——for my daughter, for my grandchildren, was wiped out with this sanctuary. Our mission will be stepped up. Humans are wiping themselves out. We're going to stop them from taking the planet with them. | „ |

After the fall of the Regime, Ra's al Ghul orders an impostor Batman to take the Suicide Squad to join his cause. After killing both Amanda Waller and Rick Flag, Batman took the tablet that controls the explosive implanted inside their brain before detonating those he deemed "useless", while at the same time Talia and her daughter, Athanasia al Ghul, infiltrated Stryker's Island to free Damian Wayne. It was later revealed that not only the unwilling Suicide Squad are on his cause, as well as numerous other superheroes including Animal Man and Vixen have joined.
Harley Quinn is then led by the impostor Batman to Ra's al Ghul himself, describing his purpose in summoning the Suicide Squad to join their cause by wiping out the human race in order to save the planet, Harley reluctantly disagrees after Poison Ivy explains that she joined Ra's al Ghul due to the similar goals and she wouldn't have much of a choice as there is a bomb implanted on their heads. It was later revealed that Ra's al Ghul kidnapped her daughter, Lucy as much as to her fury. She then proceeds to perform a headbutt against Ra's al Ghul, knocking him out and causing a riot inside the sanctuary. While Athanasia attempted to point guns at her head, only for Poison Ivy to intervene and snatch the gun away from her and encase themselves in a protective plant barrier. Ra's al Ghul then orders everyone to stop fighting, where they conceded.
He then allowed Harley to take his daughter, explaining that he too have filled with many regret. Harley nervously replies that it wouldn't work and she's supposed to save Superman. Ra's al Ghul then explains that he failed to save his loved ones and Metropolis, and he cannot save her from what she has done in the past, ensuring that she would have a second chance when she works for Ra's by destroying all the greedy corporations responsible for the planet's destruction.
Afterwards, Ra's al Ghul orders Deadshot, Katana, and Damian to kidnap Ted Kord and at the same time, he orders the other Suicide Squad members to kidnap the numerous CEOs of several corporations. In a live footage, Cheetah instructs Kord to read the statement about apologizing his corporation's actions against the environment before being corrected by Ra's al Ghul stating that his ignorance is an excuse. Kord tells him that he cannot hold them ransom for the "impossible", but Ra's al Ghul replies that they are not being held ransom but rather being charged of the most environmentally destructive businesses on the planet. Afterwards, both Orca and Killer Croc leaps from underwater and began eating all of the people inside alive and at the same time, Deadshot demolished all the buildings of the corporations they've targeted.
During the wedding of both the Alternate Reality Green Arrow and Black Canary, the Suicide Squad then kidnapped the couple's son, as well as Black Lightning's daughters and Damian and Athanasia decided to take Alfred's corpse to be revived. Despite Deadshot managing to hit Green Arrow, he actually survived thanks to his bulletproof suit. Unbeknowst to them, Batman actually hid a tracker in Green Arrow's son, revealing their base to be located in South America. Inside the Batcave, Ra's al Ghul instructs the Insurgents that he will bring balance to the planet, promising that they will spare their children if they have not intervened and then revealing to Batman that Alfred is with him.
With the help of Plastic Man and his son, Luke, Batman and the Insurgents infiltrated Ra's al Ghul's base in South America. When Animal Man discussed to Vixen about the animals in the sanctuary, Ra's al Ghul thanked him for their effort however, Athanasia reports that their surveillance had problems, Ra's al Ghul told her that Batman had arrived in their base. As the Insurgents fought the League of Assassins and Suicide Squad while Batman is about to hit his own son, Alfred finally regain his consciousness and stopped the two. Ra's arrived at the scene, prompting Alfred to that he is doing the right thing but planning it wrong, he then told that both him and Batman are the two most intelligent people in the world who shares a similar cause of saving the planet and the world isn't "black and white." Suddenly, the place started to shake, as Blue Beetle is attempted to blast the underground sanctuary in order to get inside.
As he finally created enough hole to enter the sanctuary, one of the shards accidentally killed a last surviving species, enraging Vixen and starting an another fight. Plastic Man attempted to stop her, but El Diablo blasts Blue Beetle. Both Ra's and Talia tries to halt everyone from fighting, but to no avail. Blue Beetle then retaliates by landing a direct hit in El Diablo's chest, the damage caused El Diablo's heat to cause a massive explosion, incinerating all the endangered species as well as destroying the whole sanctuary, although the others were protected by both Plastic Man and Luke in the fallout.
Ra's then asked Batman if he wanted to hurt his children, telling that the reason he recruited the youth is that they will do whatever it takes on what they believe is right. At the same time, it was revealed that Jackson Hyde was a double agent for Ra's, causing him to summon a gigantic wave, drowning most of the people in the White House. Ra's sternly told to Batman that he had completed his mission at the cost of everyone losing. Before they could leave, Batman demands what he has done, Ra's then angrily replies that he had removed a destructive force from their country's system and the effects have become irreversible. As his sanctuary was left in ruins, he decided to move to Gorilla City, forming an allegiance with Solovar and Gorilla Grodd. They had kidnapped Professor Ivo and his family, coercing him to build Amazo. Grodd then grabs Ra's by the neck, expressing his distrust to him due to being a human and not being able to mind control the android. Solovar then halts him, telling him that he is a guest of Gorilla City. Ra's then told Solovar that he already has a chosen location to test Amazo's capabilities. In Williams, Arizona Amazo started destroying its population while leaving the environment and animals intact as part of its protocol.
Later on, Ra's heard that Zod had escaped from the Phantom Zone. Realizing that he is a threat to his plans, Ra's then summons Amazo to dispose of Zod, successfully decapitating him in single neck snap. When Grodd and Solovar started a fight due to questioning Solovar's actions, Ra's whisper to his granddaughter to call their allies. They went in the room holding Professor Ivo in order to summon Amazo, giving it a task to take care of Grodd and his minions. The android effortlessly took care of Grodd by placing a device that disables his telepathic ability. As Solovar is preparing to kill Grodd, Ra's stopped him and told that he will become a martyr, eventually exiling Grodd and his followers for citing insurrection.
For his next plan, Ra's then orders Amazo to destroy the population of Dehli, India as part of his plan to rebalance the planet. Spectating the destruction of Dehli, Ra's commented that already a hundred thousand have been killed. However, the superheroes started to defect against Ra's due to his wrongful actions by attempting a planetcide. Damian and the rest went to Professor Ivo, looking for ways to sabotage Amazo by exploiting a weakness in its system. As Ivo refuses in fears of losing his family, Jason Todd then replies that they're already dead, Ivo broke into despair, causing Jason Todd to demand to the professor to look for ways to stop his own creation. Thanks to the combined efforts of Supergirl, the Insurgents, and former Regime members, Amazo has finally been destroyed for good however at the cost of Ivo's death who managed to create a weakness in the android. Seeing Ivo's death, Ra's then orders Athanasia to be incarcerated as a result although she was saved by her own mother.
Later on, Ra's is seen using the tablet to defuse the bombs implanted on both Killer Croc and Orca, explaining that he lost both his daughter and grandchildren and have failed to save the planet. Both Croc and Orca became enraged after being enslaved by Ra's. The two then prepares to attack Ra's, severing his right arm in the process. Later on, Grodd and his minions appeared from the river who told them that his friends will die. Croc attempted to attack them, but Orca pleas to the two that killing them will be a waste, which causes Grodd to agree. The two left in exchange for Ra's, telling him that their unborn child will live in a world without him before leaving.
During Grodd's invasion on Gorilla City, Ra's attempted to contact Bruce Wayne, but before he could tell him to save the world for his grandchildren, Grodd uses his mind control to take over his mind, forcing him to kneel and place his head in Grodd's palm. Eventually, Grodd crushes his head with a single crush, killing him for good.
