The Rabid Rabbit is the main antagonist of the 2014 Roblox event Egg Hunt 2014: Save the Eggverse!, the overarching antagonist of the 2015 event Roblox Easter Egg Hunt 2015 and a supporting antagonist in the 2018 event Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales.
He is a tall, anthropomorphic brown rabbit who is the evil counterpart of Lucky Lapin, one of the player's allies in the event. He comes from an alternate Eggverse, and aims to return to his own Eggverse after kidnapping Lucky Lapin and stealing all the eggs he has.
Appearance[]
The Rabid Rabbit appears to be a tall, anthropomorphic brown rabbit with orange eyes, sharp claws, and two long, downward-pointing ears.
Personality[]
Although it's impossible to draw much conclusions about Rabid Rabbit's personality due to his lack of dialogue, it's possible to say that he's quite greedy, authoritarian, and power-hungry based on his actions; as he tries to kidnap the eggs he stole from Lucky Lapin to make them his own, and even worse, he travels back in time to become a sadistic ruler in the Forsaken Future.
Biography[]
Egg Hunt 2014: Save the Eggverse![]
Back before the event started canonically, Lucky Lapin was captured by Rabid Rabbit and was forced to give him the eggs, but Rabid's teleporter machine malfunctioned and the eggs got scattered all over the Eggverse dimensions. It was then up to the player, with the help of Lucky Lapin, to bring all the egg backs to save the Eggverse.
In the actual event, he takes over the fifth alternate realm called The Forsaken Future. He controlled all the universes and altered them so that the player cannot obtain the eggs. After the player collects all the eggs, Rabid Rabbit appears as the final boss in the Forsaken Future. The player then uses a sword and weakens Rabid Rabbit, but the rabbit doesn't give up as he escapes but somehow leaves an egg of his behind.
Afterwards, Lucky Lapin is freed and the Eggverse is back to normal, ending the event.
Roblox Easter Egg Hunt 2015[]
Rabid Rabbit is mentioned in the description of Egg Hunt 2015, and supposedly is the one who put all the different Eggs in the 3 different games featured in the Event: Ripull Minigames, Twisted Murder and Super Bomb Survival. The description says "The hunt is on! That mischievous ROBLOX rabbit has left eggs in ROBLOX games for you to hunt." This shows that Rabid Rabbit wasn't totally defeated after the Events of Egg Hunt 2014 and somehow managed to comeback between the 2 events.
Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales - Return of the Rabbit[]
4 years after his defeat in the Forsaken Future and 3 years after his involvement in the Egg Hunt 2015, in the Egg Hunt 2018 event, specifically the world known as Return of the Rabbit, he travels to Robloxia and captures the titular Heroes of Robloxia to keep them locked up in cages in his secret base in the world itself.
The only hero who wasn't caught was Amethysto, who is the only one who can save his teammates. Rabid summons Robot Rabbits to attack him but with the help of the player entering the base and teaming up with Amethysto, he uses his plasma beams and reroutes the power to the turrets. after he rerouted all the turrets, they zapped Rabid Rabbit and presumably sent him back to his dimension. Amethysto earns a prize for his heroism afterwards which is known as the Super Egg. The player also gets the badge for the Super Egg and the egg hat itself too.
It is unknown what has happened to Rabid Rabbit ever since his second defeat in Return of the Rabbit as he has never appeared in an official Roblox event since.
The Haunt[]
In The Haunt, Rabid Rabbit appears as a stone bust on one of the walls in the Hall of Villains, along with Lord Aymor, the main antagonist of Egg Hunt 2018. Both busts are right next to each other as well as a reference.

Reception[]
While Rabid Rabbit is now considered a nostalgic and beloved character in the community, Egg Hunt 2014 had numerous bugs, which Rabid Rabbit also suffered from in the past. While Rabid Rabbit's boss fight itself was quite well-received, there were a few bugs that sparked negative reactions; for example, Rabid Rabbit would sometimes suddenly leap into the air and fly off the map, preventing players from defeating him and obtaining their rewards. Despite these bugs however, some players appreciated his effectiveness and role as an antagonist, providing inspiration for future Egg Hunts.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Acid Breath: As seen in Egg Hunt 2014, the Rabid Rabbit could spit some kind of acidic liquid from his mouth.
- Summoning Minions: In both Egg Hunt 2014 and Egg Hunt 2018, Rabid Rabbit was able to summon rabbit-like minions to aid him in his evil plans.
- Superhuman Strength: In direct proportion to his size, the Rabid Rabbit appears to be much stronger than a normal human, as he was able to kill players in just 2-3 hits.
- Superhuman Durability: Again, in direct proportion to his size, it can be said that the Rabid Rabbit is also much more durable than a normal human; as he has withstood attacks from players using a dangerous weapon like Morningstar for quite some time.
- Enhanced Speed: While not on a superhuman level, Rabid Rabbit appears to be considerably fast as a rabbit.
- Advanced Technology: Interestingly, Rabid Rabbit possesses some pretty advanced technology, such as gadgets that allow him to travel through time.

- It is unknown whether Rabid Rabbit can speak, as he has never had any dialogue of his own. However, it is most likely that he simply communicates only with his minions.
- While it's known that Rabid Rabbit is back for revenge in Egg Hunt 2018, it was never revealed what his beef with Heroes of Robloxia was, or how he even learned about their existence in the first place.
- Rabid Rabbit is the first antagonist to appear in a Roblox Egg Hunt event, as Egg Hunt 2014 was also the first Egg Hunt event to have a story.
- He is also the second proper antagonist to appear in a Roblox event, with the first being Bloxhilda from BLOXtoper/Hallow's Eve 2013.
