Rachel Hyde is the main antagonist of the 2023 horor film Doctor Jekyll, a modern film adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
She is the dark side of Dr. Nina Jekyll, a renowned transgender pharmacist. In spite of her reclusiveness, Nina finds a friend in the form of her newly-hired help Rob, an ex-convict in rehab, but Rachel then emerges, forcing Nina and Rob to work together to preclude Hyde from destroying Nina's life and using Rob for her own ends. She is the film's adaptation of Edward Hyde.
She was portrayed by Eddie Izzard, who also played Professor Bedlam in My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Dr. Schadenfreude in Igor, Nigel Bakerbutcher in The Simpsons, Sir Miles Axlerod in Cars 2, Abel Gideon in Hannibal, Lord Voldemort in The LEGO Batman Movie, Burnish in Abominable and Hervnick Z. Snerz in the 2019 Netflix Green Eggs and Ham series.
