Radiak is one of the villains who appeared in the BIONICLE series, serving as a minor antagonist in the 2008 storyline.
He is an Av-Matoran who was, for a time, a Shadow Matoran.
History[]
Radiak was an Av-Matoran who lived in Karda Nui. He was once friends with his fellow Av-Matoran Photok and a hero among the Av-Matoran. However, he was ambushed by Vamprah and drained of his light energy. Afterwards, Radiak became a Shadow Matoran and Antroz' servant. Since Antroz (along with Vamprah and Chirox) had been blinded, Radiak, Gavla, and Kirop rode them and acted as their "eyes." Some time after that, Radiak was mutated into a four-legged form by Mutran.
Later, when Takanuva discovered that a Klakk could cure a Shadow Matoran and turn it back into an Av-Matoran, he used a Klakk's power on Radiak. An Av-Matoran once more, Radiak joined the evacuation of Karda Nui. He assembled with the Toa in Metru Nui to celebrate the awakening of Mata Nui.
Personality[]
Prior of becoming the Shadow Matoran, Radiak was known for his courage, bravery and sense of honor as he lived by the Three Virtures and served the Great Spirit.
After becoming the Shadow Matoran, he enjoyed fighting his own friends and watching them struggle against the Makuta's attack.
Powers & Abilities[]
Like the rest of the Av-Matoran, Radiak controls the Light element and have the ability to change his armor's color. He also wields the two pairs of Power Swords and was the most powerful Av-Matoran as he was capable of defeating the large wave of Rahkshi with ease during the Karda Nui invasion.
After becoming one of the Shadow Matoran, Radiak gained the ability to shoot out blasts of Shadow and also served as Antroz's "eyes". He also battles his enemies by using his Power Swords which attached onto his arms, teeth and his leg blades. He eventually lost these when his mutation was reversed.
Trivia[]
- Radiak can be seen being attached onto Antroz's back.
- He could also attached on Gorast as seen in the back of the package, though it did not happened in the story.
- Radiak is the only Av-Matoran who was corrupted by Vamprah's power while the other Av-Matoran were corrupted by the Shadow Leeches.
- Radiak along with Antroz, Lewa and Tanma were combined to form Spiriah.
