~ Kyle Crane after realizing that the boys actually lured him into a trap.

The Radio boy and its brothers are one of the minor antagonists in Dying Light: The Following, and the main antagonists in the side quest Radio Boy.

Biography[]

Dying Light: The Following[]

Nothing is know about the boys before the apocalypse, except after the apocalypse they inhabited a warehouse in the Countryside, brought alot of stuff/toys in the warehouse's ceiling and began luring survivors into the warehouse, and have them killed by their Demolisher to loot their bodies.

Radio Boy[]

After Kyle Crane completes the quest Power to the People he suddenly gets a call from a frightened child desperately stating that he's stuck in a warehouse and his brothers left him, and screams from Crane to help him. Crane goes to the warehouse to help the boy and find as a toy sword stuck between some rocks with a cross in the middle and candles around it, and suddenly the boy unharmed and accompanied by his brothers start repeatedly chanting "Big Guy" from the ceiling, and after a few second a Demolisher; decorated in colorful patterns bursts through the door, Crane manages to kill the Demolisher and, afterwards the kids show their disappointment for Crane killing their Demolisher, and one states that "he killed the Big Guy", this causes Crane to realize that he wasn't the "Big Guy" and that they were actually cheering for the Demolisher, and that they actually lured him into a trap, enraged; he finds the keys to the ceiling from the Demolisher, but before he could get up there the kids ran away through the roof's skylight and were never seen again.

Once Crane is up at their lair, he can optionally pick up all of the loot from their dead victims, and Crane can also go through the path where the Demolisher broke through and find two male victims, one of them is one of Bilal's missing people and once the dead body is turned over the player can pick up his ID card and report him to Bilal.

Trivia[]

  • It's actually possible to kill the kids by throwing molotov cocktails on the time after picking up the key from the dead Demolisher, and while they're burning to death they have the same sound effects from Rais's men/Hostile survivors.
  • The player cannot grapple towards the boys as the hole has an invisible wall until the kids run away.
  • It's unknown how the boys decorated the Demolisher, and also had no trouble looting the bodies of their victims with the Demolisher present.
