Raita Naito (内藤 雷汰 Naitō Raita) is one of the three secondary antagonists Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger (alongside Grantu Risk and Eiichiro Tokoyari). He's the CEO of Lightning Tech Corporation, but is secretly working alongside Waruido Spindo and Tokoyari to aid the Hashiriyans' invasion of Earth, thinking it would be beneficial for him on the long run.
He is portrayed by Katsuhiko Nagato.

Past[]
When Taiya Hando was a middle-schooler, he was contacted by Raita to securely deliver a newly-programmed Lightning Tech program. Raita then became a mentor figure to the young Taiya, helping him achieving his dream of becoming a courier and supporting him at his toughest moments.
Though the circumstances behind this are unknown, Raita decided to join the Hashiriyans after they launched their invasion of Earth, together with Eiichiro Tokoyari from the International Space Agency. He contributed to the Hashiriyans by manufacturing the Boonboom Killer Robo alongside Cannonborg.
Present[]
Raita first appears when he requests from Taiya to deliver a high-quality Bun Red plush created by him specifically for the sick son of his colleague. When Taiya delivers the doll, Raita finds out that he's Bun Red when he's told that he appeared transformed to deliver the plush to the child.
Raita summons Taiya for another delivery request: To deliver fireworks for his nephew, Senji, who's camping with friends. Taiya successfully delivers the fireworks and saves Senji and his friends from the Hashiriyans.
Raita's true colors[]
Raita calls Taiya once again and asks him to securely deliver a top-secret package to Lightning Tech's Physics and Chemistry Lab. Taiya delivers the package, but it gets stolen by Disrace, who had recently arrived on Earth. During a conversation with Tokoyari, Raita expresses concern about the way Disrace broke in the lab and stole the package, since it led to some of the employees at the lab getting injured, but tells Tokoyari that he's ready to mass-produce the Boonboom Killer Robo. When Taiya visits Naito to apologize over the delivery being stolen, Naito shrugs it off and tells him not to dwell about it.
Later, Naito asks from Taiya to deliver the Boonboom Cars to a science event that he sponsors. Using their newly-created Champion Carrier, the Boonboomgers deliver Boonboom Patrol Car 2, Dozer, Classic and Safari to the event, but unknowingly to them, Naito modified the cars so that they could be car-jacked and equipped on the Boonboom Killer Robo.
After Ishiro's aparent betrayal of the Boonboomgers, Tokoyari gives Naito the green light to proceed with their plan. Naito prepares to seize all of Taiya's assets and transfer them to Lightning Tech, but allows him to have the final choice in the matter. Taiya goes to confront his traitorous mentor at a valley where the two used to meet at, where Naito reveals to Taiya that he decided to work with the Hashiriyans out of his own twisted view about screams: If people get happy at seeing others' misfortune, then screams generate happiness to those people. He then watches as Taiya and the other Boonboomgers are beaten by Spindo, and reveals to him that he modified the Boonboom Cars after he witnesses Spindo car-jacking them and combining them with Boonboom Killer Robo while fighting Bundorio. when Taiya is pinned down by Grantu Risk, Naito takes his changer and waits for his choice about their deal. Taiya agrees to transfer his assets to Naito so that he could save Bundorio, but the choice is rendered naught after Spindo kills Bundorio.
Epilogue[]
When Shirabe Saibu finds out about Naito and Tokoyari's collusion with the Hashiriyans, the police appear at his office to arrest him. Months after the Boonboomgers defeated Spindo, Taiya comes to visit his former mentor. Raita reveals to Taiya that greed overcame him, which is why he decided to work with the Hashiriyans.
Personality[]
On the outside, Raita Naito appears to be a nice, old businessman, who's proud of the success of his protégé, Taiya, and is willing to help people out even at the smallest things.
In reality, Naito is a greedy, corrupt and sinister business man, who jumped on the opportunity to work with the Hashiriyans solely out of greed. After Taiya finds about this, his attitude towards him completely changes. He shows no emotion when Waruido Spindo beats Taiya almost to the death, and when Taiya has no choice but to transfer all of his assets to him, Naito mocks him by using Taiya's own catchphrase before completing the transfer. When Spindo asks him if he felt regret at doing this to Taiya, Naito tells him that he simply taught him a lesson about how harsh real life can be.
Trivia[]
- Raita Naito is named after the TV series Knight Rider. This foreshadows his true allegiance, since the other Hashiriyan members are also named after movies that feature cars.
