With a ferocious craving for the blood of those he deemed as adversaries when faced with more powerful opponents, his true self can be exposed revealing his cowardly side.
Such case can be seen when he reacted to the refusal of Tarnak and Yogumunt's refusal to assist in the Frost Monarch's battle against Sung Jinwoo, even though he was, by stating that they are cowards, despite the fact he is one on the inside. He can also be seen playing dirty as he stabs Jinwoo from behind as he took the opportunity while he was off guard.

With everything seemingly a win for the Monarchs, his face and the rest of his body began to freeze. Seconds after, Jinwoo's presence has disappeared and discovers him flying at him from behind. Nevertheless, as he comes out of his portal, to his terror, he locates Jinwoo right next him. Now knowing that he stands no chance against the Ashborn's vessel, he bows down in front of the hunter, apologizing for fighting him, and that he will assist him in the upcoming event against the Dragon Monarch. Hearing Jinwoo accepting his apology, the beast grins. Jinwoo however challenges him that if he can survive five attack from him, he will be forgiven in exchange for the five scars he had received in earlier battles against him.
Reacting to this response, the monarch is enraged, causing him to grow his wolf form into a colossal size that can be seen from every distance in the forest.
