~ Ralph to Sannes just after he spilled the truth. |
Ralph is a minor antagonist in the manga and anime, Attack on Titan. He was a Military Police Brigade officer of the First Interior Squad (commonly known as Interior Police) who would frequently be ordered to dispose of people who could threaten the peace inside the Walls, which he did with his close comrade, Djel Sannes. They would eventually lead to revealing the truth surrounding the Reiss family. Known Kings of the Walls he served are Rod and Uri's father, Uri Reiss, Frieda Reiss, and Rod Reiss.
Appearance[]
Ralph appears to be a middle-aged man of average height. He has a slightly long face with scruffy and short brown hair that is shaved on the sides, while in the manga his hair is light-colored. He also has brown eyes and a large, yet thin mustache.
Ralph used to wear the standard Military Police Brigade with a white shirt underneath, while during his imprisonment by the Survey Corps, he wore a grey button up shirt.
Personality[]
Ralph appeared to be a very cruel and arrogant man. Having no issue with using brutal torture to enforce the “peace” within the Walls. Even when he was younger, Ralph once laughingly motivated his close colleague and friend Djel Sannes to torture a teacher in order to obtain information, whilst Sannes was fearful in what he had to do, the fact that Ralph laughed it off shows that he was notably more sadistic then Sannes.
Ralph is also shown to be rather opportunistic, being notably less loyal to the Royal Government compared to Sannes. When Ralph was at the Survey Corps' mercy, he chose to go along with them to secure his own life, causing him to indirectly and unintendedly betray the secrets of his organization.
