Ramón Rios, known simply as Ramon, is an antagonist in the 2012 video game Syndicate. He is an agent working for Cayman Global that wants them to dominate the industry for bio-chips, neutrally implanted chips that are the mainframe of modern technology replacing the Internet. He kidnapped Lily Drawl and attempted to kill Miles Kilo after he followed him on one of their dropships.
Biography[]
While EuroCorp agents Kilo and Merit survey Dr. Lily Drawl in her apartment building by unlawfully spying on her, they watch a ship bust through the side of her room and get kidnapped. Agent Ramón walks out of the dropship with many soldiers accompanying him, and slaps Lily and carries her back to the ship. Knowing that they must retrieve Lily at all costs since she is useful to EuroCorp and are under the CEO's orders to survey her for suspicious activity, Merit launches a zipline from the building they're on to Lily's apartment window that Kilo gets on. After killing many soldiers from Cayman Global, Kilo jumps on one of their dropships that leads him straight to their headquarters.
After Kilo jumps off the top of the dropship he was holding onto once it arrived, Kilo spots Ramón flying away with Lily on his jetpack. He rushes through and kills all the Cayman opposition and is eventually ambushed by Ramón while trying to find Lily. Kilo falls from a high distance and is taunted by Ramón as he flies down onto a nearby platform, ready to kill Kilo. Ramón causes chaos that forces all the citizens in the area to flee, and attempts to murder Kilo with his SWARM Missile Launcher, bouncing from platform to platform with his jetpack, launching explosions and jammers. Kilo thwarts Ramón by breaching his rockets to send them flying back to him, but Ramón put up a fight with his energy shield protection and jammers that he threw to prevent Kilo from redirecting his missiles. After fighting him for some time, Kilo hacked the generator Ramón landed in front of and incapacitates him.
When Kilo goes to extract his bio-chip to salvage it for an upgrade, Ramón gets up and brutally assaults him. However, Lily suddenly appears and shoots Ramón before things got worse. Since Lily was now considered an enemy, Kilo wondered why Lily helped him. After Ramón's death, Lily would betray Kilo, and after that, Kilo would rescue Lily from EuroCorp and the two of them would both become traitors, after Kilo finally learns that he was abducted by EuroCorp as a child and had his parents murdered and his memories altered.
