Biography[]
Background[]
Little is known about Pidge's history before she is introduced. However, it is known that she has Dominican heritage, and her parents separated. Her mother met a man who became her stepfather, who she used to beat in order to keep him from sleeping.
Orange is the New Black[]
MCC, the for-profit prison management corporation that purchases Litchfield's assets, implements a major cost-saving policy by transferring hundreds of Maximum Security inmates to the Minimum Security camp. While waiting to be processed, Pidge is seen with Ouija as they speak to Flaca Gonzalez about her makeup, and in particular, who the leader of the prison is. Flaca reveals to them that it is Piper Chapman, leading them to attempt to befriend her to ensure they are protected.
They are shocked to find Flaca was telling the truth on witnessing Piper receive special treatment by prison chef Galina Reznikov. To show respect, they let Piper pass through the cafeteria which leads her to ask how they know her. Pidge and Ouija tell Piper they have "heard things" about her power, which goes to Piper's head.
When Blanca Flores is assaulted by Kasey Sankey and Jennifer Digori, Pidge arrives and realises the growing racial tensions between the Latina inmates and swears violent vengeance against them. However, Maria Ruiz, who has become leader of the Dominican population in the prison, tries to instil a more diplomatic approach.
When Ouija and Pidge try to become involved in Piper's panty-smuggling business, she refuses to hire them. Later, Pidge becomes idle without a job in prison, and goes to complain to Sam Healy. Healy tells them he cannot offer them jobs that do not exist, and encourages them to take part in educational programmes to bide their time.
When Piper incriminates Maria to Desi Piscatella, Maria is told she will have more time added to her sentence. Furious, Pidge swears to attack Piper. As part of this, Maria organises her gang to restrain Piper. Pidge holds Piper's arms back as she is branded with a swastika.
In season five, a riot breaks out in protest against the brutality experienced by the inmates. Pidge and Ouija see Piper and Alex Vause with MCC official Linda Ferguson. Pidge steals Linda's blazer and her heels, which are made into a shiv.
Pidge becomes responsible for terrorising the guards who are being held hostage, as well as the main security in their holdings. Gloria Mendoza feigns interest in supporting Pidge and Ouija in order to release the hostages. She encourages them to sleep as they have been awake for three days straight, which they do so (failing to realise Gloria's true intentions).
When Maria releases the hostages instead with the hopes of having her sentence commuted, the riot ends with a CERT storm throughout the prison. Instead of surrendering, Pidge and Ouija team up with the White Supremacists to fight the storm. They set traps which are ultimately unsuccessful, and are taken out of the prison.
She is then transferred to another prison in the US, which is presumed to be Cleveland, Ohio.
