~ The Rampaging Doomers' battle description |
The Rampaging Doomers are supporting antagonists in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, appearing as major antagonists and the fourth boss of Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.
They are a quartet of corrupted Sphere Doomers who make their home in the Locandra Dimension found deep within Another Dimension who serve the Crowned Doomer to steal the Fruit Fragments.
Physical Appearance[]
The Rampaging Doomers resemble the Sphere Doomers; they are spherical creatures with large wings, sinister yellow eyes, jagged mouths, and tail feathers (five for each of them). However, they are sickly purple, and their wings are dark grey and light grey, and most notably have a gear-like motif on them similar to the Energy Spheres the Sphere Doomers stole in the main story mode; specifically, they lack the Sphere Doomers' tufts of feathers on their heads, but instead gears that make up horns, as well as another gear on their underside. They also have a black aura surrounding them.
Biography[]
The Rampaging Doomers appear as the boss of the penultimate level, Loncandra Dimension. They are first seen flying in the background before they encounter Magolor and the fight begins.
In battle, the Rampaging Doomers fight very similarly to the regular Sphere Doomers. However, their diving attacks leave behind clouds of darkness that explode after a few seconds. They fight in a very coordinated manner; there are two of them commonly fighting Magolor, while the others fly around in the background as the fight goes on. In the second phase, all four of them can fight Magolor at the same time, making dodging their attacks tougher for him to deal with. Upon defeat, the Rampaging Doomers explode and drop the four Fruit Fragment.
Trivia[]
- Despite there being four Rampaging Doomers, if one looks carefully in the background of the fight, there are three of them in the background, implying that there are more of them.
