Rangda is the main villain in the video game The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2.
Personality[]
Rangda sees herself as both a protector and mother to the inhabitants of her world to the point that she gave up her life to become one with her world and would reset the world over and over again to keep it safe. While her time loop results in the deaths of everyone in the world, she still refers to them as her children that she cares for, justifying their deaths as allowing them to be born again in the next time loop instead of being permanently killed by Niike.
Biography[]
Past[]
Rangda was originally a witch who lived in the world of Kevala, however, one day the destructive Niike visited her universe and began to destroy Kevala. In order to save her world, Rangda would become one with her planet, gaining enough power to separate her universe from the multiverse, trapping it into an infinite time loop to keep it separate and safe from Niike.
Once it would come time for the universe to reset, Rangda would suck in the other two eyes called Karma and Samsara, her eye would open and she would destroy the world, killing everyone on it, before time resets. This cycle that Rangda calls Samsara would repeat a countless number of times.
Rangda was completely unware of the fact that Niike had been killed in the world of Medea and kept repeating the cycle in fear of Niike's return.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2[]
During one of these cycles, when Theordore and Francesca attempted to break the cycle. Chelka and her allies would learn of Rangda's existence and attempt to stop her from resetting the world over and over again.
After Chelka escaped into space, Rangda would make copies of Zophie, Francesca and Isabel to defeat them and bring them back to the planet, however, Prim would halt them. Rangda would create multiple copies of Hundred Knight and a copy of Chelka to defeat Hundred Knight but they all were destroyed.
In the end, Chelka would blast Rangda with and destroy her will, killing her before taking her place and resetting the world for the last time.
