Ranger Kyle is one of the minor antagonists of The Mentalist TV-show. He is a perverted corrupt official, arrested by Terese Lisbon's team. He was played by Bryce Johnson.
Biography[]
One day, Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's team are called to the scene of the disappearance of two girls, Kara Palmer and Nicole Gilbert. Kara's body is quickly found. However, Nicole is not nearby. The dog cannot pick up the scent, so Patrick suspects that the killer is one of the police officers called to the crime scene. A search is launched. Nicole is found alive and with a bloody knife in her hand. She is suspected of murdering her friend. Patrick Jane helps her recreate the events of the previous evening. She says that she and Kara were kidnapped and raped. She did not see what happened to Kara. She describes the kidnapper. At this time, Teresa Lisbon and a local police officer named Kyle are inspecting the place that Nicole was talking about. At this time, Nicole remembers that the kidnapper smelled of pineapples, which she immediately tells Patrick. Patrick, in turn, reports this to Teresa, who is still examining the place where Nicole and Kara were held. Lisbon remembers that there was an air freshener in Kyle's car in the shape of a pineapple (and having a smell similar to the smell of pineapple). She realizes with horror that Kyle is the criminal. Not without the help of Wayne Rigsby, who arrived in time, Teresa manages to detain Kyle.
