Ratão is the main antagonist in the 2007 Brazilian film Brichos/Branimals and the TV series of the same name, and also a minor antagonist in the sequel to the first movie. He is the best known rat in the village and is always trying to make the big blow and pull his son Ratãozinho to his side of crime.
Biography[]
After he learned that his son got into a fight with Thales and his friends at school, he immediately ordered his henchmen to go after the boys to avenge their son, the boys were eventually captured and thrown into a deep well in the forest. After the entire village learned of the boys' disappearance, Ratão was afraid that they would find out that he was responsible and left the village so as not to be caught. At the end of the film he is seen on the road in his car while calling his henchmen, who are already in jail.
In Brichos: A Floresta é Nossa (Branimals: The Forest Is Ours), he is involved in a business with the aim of selling the forest around the village, but he ended up failing and getting fired .
He will return as a major antagonist in the new film, Brichos 3: MEGAVIRUS.
Appearance[]
Ratão is a gray rat that is often seen smoking a cigarette and wearing a brown-collared shirt.
Personality[]
Ratão is a smart, greedy, vengeful thug and leader of a gang of outlaws, and is always plotting something to make money. He's been arrested several times and doesn't care much for his family. He's always trying to make his oldest son a tough guy like him. His motto is "The world belongs to the smart".
