Raven Spawn is a major villain in the Spawn franchise, He was one of Malebolgia's death knights.

Biography[]

Raven Spawn was once a corrupt knight named Kray-Von Gone who did many crimes and sins, and after dying he would become a hellspawn under Malebolgia's reign and one of his death knights. During the events of ? there was a version of Al Simmons that fought him in a climactic battle but was defeated. In the main series he was once a man named Kray-Von Gone who was one of Malebolgia's death knights before Malebolgia fell. After he lay dormant until Al's blast awoke him. He first appeared in a flashback in issue 297 and later would reappear in the King Spawn series where he confronts Al who had become a king and leader of the Court of Priests. Raven Spawn told him he was nothing but a pawn to a greater villain and the two would fight with Raven using his ravens to attack and kill Zab. After the fight Raven leaves in the form of ravens calling King Spawn a pawn. After this Raven would later meet up with Violator , Alex, Komox and a demon called Ordeal who works under Nightmare Spawn.

Raven Spawn tells the others about who is truly pulling all their strings on all of them,the others, and Al Simmons on this cosmic chess game unaware that spawn and his court of priests are watching them planning on making their move.

Powers and abilities[]

As a hellspawn possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina and durability. He also has a healing factor, shape shifting (e.g changing into ravens) and is a skilled weapon master and combatant. He also can go into people's minds and use his ravens to attack the targets.

In other media[]

Raven Spawn appeared in the Adventures of Spawn universe toyline with a mini comic called the Spawn Files. This comic depicts him in as a villain who fights against other hellspawns.
