The Ravenator is a mouth-themed monster of the Evil Space Aliens working for Rita Repulsa and serves as the main antagonist of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode "Rita's Pita."

He is voiced by the late Brad Orchard who previously voiced Pipebrain, the Tube Monster and later the Hydro Hog with all being from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,, Mace Face and Stenchy in Power Rangers Zeo and the Horror Bulls and Hoothead in Power Rangers In Space.

Biography

The Ravenator is created by Finster and presented to Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd as part of the former's plan to make Tommy eat himself into an early grave. Since Tommy is eating to get his energy back after training his student, Rita shrinks the Ravenator into a vegetable pita which Tommy eats. The Ravenator causes his host intense hungry, turning him into an abusive psychopath who only eats until the other Power Rangers drag him to the Command Center. They discover the Ravenator inside of him and Zordon sends them to find a way to eject the monster. All attempts fail until they confront Tommy with a giant fattening ice cream which makes him fight the hunger and the Ravenator leaves his body in frustration. They morph and fight the Ravenator but he completely overwhelms them until Kat kicks him back and Tommy wipes him out with a scissor kick. Rita and Zedd then enlarge the Ravenator with thier lightning who proclaims that he wants to eat Angel Grove so the Power Rangers summon the Shogun Megazord. The Ravenator charges straight at it but is immediately killed by the Fire Saber.

In Space

Three years later, the Ravenator is seen amongst Rita and Zedd's army during thier invasion of the M-51 Galaxy. Although they defeat the Blue Senturion and Phantom Ranger, the Ravenator is turned to dust with the rest of the army when Zordon's Energy Wave washes over the universe.

Powers and Abilities

• Strength: The Ravenator is strong enough to throw Billy off of his cap and he threw away Tommy by catching his fist in his throat and throwing him away.
• Sight: The Ravenator can see despite lacking eyes.
• Forced Eating: The Ravenator causes intense hunger in his victims that makes them eat themselves to death.
• Unlimited Appetite: The Ravenator is always hungry and ready to eat anything. According to Zordon, the Ravenator can eat anything as long as it is edible.
• Self Growth: The Ravenator can grow from tiny size to human size at will.
• Expert Fighter: The Ravenator overwhelmed all five Power Rangers with his bare hands.
• Agility: The Ravenator is quick enough to duck swing kicks from Tommy and Adam.
• Energy Absorption: The Ravenator was able to absorb Rita and Zedd's lightning to grow giant.

• Fists: The Ravenator has no weapons of his own but is a skilled hand to hand combatant.
• Knife and Fork: The Ravenator wielded a giant knife and fork to eat what Tommy ate.
