Ravy is a main character in the Swedish Netflix crime-drama tv-series Snabba Cash, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1 and the deutragonist of Season 2.

He was portrayed by Dada Fungula Bozela.

Biography[]

Ravy is a drug lord and employer of Salim as well as brother-in-law to Leya and uncle to her child Sami. Ravy's brother Yannick was killed by rival dealers during his time as gangster, so Leya, Sami and his mother Noella are his only known family.

In the present time, Ravy is in a conflict with a rival drug dealer called Dani. Both have the same supplier, Marko, who strongly opposes their feud and advices them to stop go into wars with eachother otherwise he will cut their suppliments.

Ravy doesn't listen to him and attempts to have Dani assassinated, resulting in the death of his own gang-member Ari. He sends Salim to try to kill Dani a second time, but Salim's conscience gets the better of him. Because he went against Marko's suggestion, Marko stops dealing to Ravy. Ravy becomes desperate and tries to make Leya convince him to give him a second chance. When Leya refuses, Ravy becomes violent and coerces her to do it anyway.

After the meeting where Marko gives Ravy and Dani a second chance, he does so on a condition: that they compensate him by giving him 5% of their revenue.

Meanwhile, his enforcers Nala and Osman has recruited the young Tim to work as a dealer for them. He screws up by disposing a bag full of drugs that he was supposed to deliver. Ravy tells Tim him that from now on, he has to do everything he tells him to, forcing him to participate in an upcoming delivery.

Unknowing to Ravy, Salim tells Leya about the delivery who in turn tells it to Dani, with the intention that Ravy will be taken out of the picture. Dani's gang interferes with Ravy's delivery, causing a massive shootout between the two gangs, resulting in Dani and his entire crew getting killed. Surprisingly, despite their immense rivalry, Ravy pays respect to the deceased Dani.

In order to find out who ratted them out, Ravy kidnaps and tortures Dani's girlfriend, who tells them that all she knows is that it was a girl who told Dani. Ravy threatens to hurt everyone close to her if she talks about what just happened to anyone, leaving her alone in the middle of nowhere.

Thinking that it was Tim who ratted, Ravy kidnaps him and prepares to execute him before Tim tells him that it was Leya who leaked the information. He then has Nala kidnap Leya and takes her out in the woods, where she is questioned but denies it. Despite preparing to have both Tim and Leya killed, Ravy is visually seen struggling to kill her.

Right then, Salim takes the blame by saying it was he who told Dani. Finding it hard to believe, Ravy laughs at him at first. But Salim tells him that he did so because Ravy wouldn’t let Salim leave the criminal lifestyle. Salim also tells Ravy that he and Leya had had a relationship for a while. Getting it confirmed from Leya, Ravy kills Salim and lets Leya go. He then forces Tim to take the blame for Salim's murder or else he will hurt his loved ones. This causes Tim to get sent to prison.

When Ravy arrives to Marko's place for a meeting and is surprised that Leya is there. Leya tells him that she had payed off all his debts to Marko and now practically owns him until he pays her back. Ravy becomes infuriated before leaving.
