Rawley Wilkes is the main antagonist of the 1983 western film Lone Wolf McQuade. He is a drug dealing warlord who is J.J. "Lone Wolf" McQuade's archenemy.
He was portrayed by the late David Carradine, who also played Bill in Kill Bill, Eugene Sorenson in Bird on a Wire, and William Sharp in Saints Row.
Biography[]
Wilkes was first seen when he was at an arms deal with the Cuban, who offered weapons shippings from Havana, but he have him killed after he threatened him. Later, Lola invites McQuade and Sally to the party, where Wilkes was displaying his prowess in martial arts. Some of this thugs got into a fight with Ramos. After settling the fight, Lola and McQuade leave the party and showed up at his house. Later, Sally and her boyfriend Bobby witnessed an hijacking of a U.S. convoy, organized by Wilkes. Bobby was killed and Sally was hospitalized when the hijackers shoved a car into the ravine. McQuade works with Ravo to find out who was responsible for this incident, Kayo's computer skills allow him to track the errant convoy, eventually follows it to an illegal garment factory. They picked up an young delinquent named Snow, he won't talk until Dakota point his gun at him.
After Wilkes realizes his operations was disrupted, he killed Snow and Dakota, which got the attention of FBI Special Agent Jackson, who works with McQuaid and Ramos. The trail eventually leads to Wilkes, an arms merchant who hijacks the U.S. arms shipments for illicit weapon deals. The three eventually make their way to Wilkes' arms trading headquarters in the desert, fellow agents Burnside and Nunez were killed during the attack, McQuade was beaten by Wilkes and trapped in a truck about to be buried, but the trio escaped nonetheless.
McQuade later found out Sally had been taken by Wilkes to Mexico. An arms dealer named "Falcon", offered McQuade assistance after he claims to be double-crossed by Wilkes and wants him eliminated. With the exact location of Wilkes and Sarah provided, McQuade, Ramos and Jackson headed to the location and start a intense fight with Wilkes' men. Jackson was shot and so is Sarah, but in the leg, McQuade engages Wilkes in hand-to-hand battle, until the dealer hits Sarah, which provokes McQuade into a frenzy of attacks and beat down Wilkes.
At last moments, Wilkes rushes to a building and orders his men to kill the ranger. McQuaid threw a grenade at the building, and killed Wilkes and his thugs.
