Ray worked at LuthorCorp's Black Creek facility in Montana as an interrogator in the WB/CW Television series Smallville.
He served as the secondary antagonist in the Season Eight premiere "Odyssey".
He was portrayed by Patrick Gilmore, who also voiced Garth in Barbie: The Pearl Princess.
Biography[]
After Chloe Sullivan had been arrested by the Department of Domestic Security for espionage, she was taken to Black Creek, Montana where Ray interrogated her about her new super-computer-like powers. He claimed he worked for the government.
She was forced to use her new ability to process information at superhuman speed. Ray told her that she will use her abilities for them in exchange for a lighter sentence for hacking into the NSA. Ray said that Chloe was smarter than the average human due to her new ability of super intelligence. LuthorCorp found an encoded signal from the Justice League satellite and planned to use it to hunt them down.
Ray asked Chloe to decipher the phone numbers. Once they deciphered three cell phone numbers, by using Chloe's powers, they took them down systematically. When Chloe recognized the last phone number as Oliver Queen's, she realized that Ray was not from the government, but instead from LuthorCorp. She knocked Ray out and tried to escape but was quickly detained by security.
Due to her deciphering two phone numbers, Aquaman was captured in Tromso, Norway while Black Canary was taken down in Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland. They were both taken to Black Creek where they were strung up from the ceiling with chains. Ray tried to get Chloe to tell him the last phone number but she refused.
Regan Matthews then entered the facility and injected her with a serum they extracted from her mother's DNA, explaining that it has the ability to make a person temporarily follow any given order. Under the influence of the serum, Chloe's eyes glow green and Regan ordered her to tell him the last phone number. She complies and they were shocked to learn the phone number's location was there in the base. Clark and Lois find Chloe, but as they entered the room Lois was tasered by Ray. Clark knocked Ray out with a punch, freed Chloe and they embrace.
