Raymond Brantley is a supporting antagonist in the Cinemax TV series Banshee, appearing as the main antagonist of the episode "A Fixer of Sorts", as well as the overarching antagonist of the episode "Armies of One" He was a mob kingpin from Oregon and the employer of Quentin.
He was portrayed by Shuler Hensley who also portrayed Elric Kane in Dexter: New Blood.

He was first mentioned by Jason Hood in the Season 2 episode "Armies of One", in which he send one his enforcers, Quentin after him in order to acquire the money he stole from him.
Season 3[]
After the FBI Special Agent Robert Phillips, from Internal Affairs arrested Lucas Hood in order to take him into custody in New York City, Brantley orders his men to kidnap the both of them. By this time, it was already apparent to Brantley that the Hood isn't the real Lucas Hood. He then introduces himself to both, Phillips and Hood realizes that the whole thing is about the Real Lucas Hood's son, Jason Hood and how he stole 50 thousand of Brantley's money. By this time, Brantley was unaware that Jason and his enforcer Quentin were both dead. Hood then tells Brantley that and that the money he stole is in Banshee. Brantley then offers his men to take Special Agent Phillips into the woods in order to execute him and stays with Hood at the truck so that they can together go to Banshee, get the money and show Jason Hood's body to Brantley.
Brantley then explains to Hood how he can't do the things that other can do for granted, and how the one thing he has is his ledger. He tells him that he keeps everything balanced and how not even a decimal point is out of place. After this Hood asks Brantley if he wants to know what Jason Hood's last words were. He said he wants to and Hood answers to that "he'll be seeing your fat ass real soon". and he kicks him in his shin, knocking him on his knees. After this he breaks loose and starts to choke Brantley with a piece of wood that was ripped out of the bench he was held captive at, during the process. After finally subduing him, Hood opens the floor hatch, and drops Brantley under the wheels of the truck, tearing him apart and killing him instantly.
