Rayn is a major antagonist in the 2005 game Jak X: Combat Racing. She is the daughter of her late father, Krew and his successor in the family business. She is also shown to be a highly skilled racer, having participated in the Kras City Grand Championship.
She was voiced by Jeannie Elias.
Personality[]
From the surface, Rayn came across as a well-mannered young lady who was naive of her father's horrible ways. Like her father, they have venoculars and have English accents who often end with a frank "Oh well". She carries an optimistic air about her through her grace and innocence which carried her determination.
Below this exterior however, Rayn's true nature is that of a cunning and manipulative woman who is independent and she calls her father, "too soft" as a crime boss and is willing to race for her own team. Despite her questionable motives, she begins to bond with her team and began to see them as friends over time and called off the death threats she was issuing even after her treachery is made known. She does show some decency to leave her father's journal for them to locate and make it known to them that she was on the plan to poison them all along, but she doesn't have the whole thing to confess to them personally that she was manipulating them.
