Razen is a major antagonist of the anime and manga series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. He was the sorcerer head of the Falmuth Kingdom. This changes when he and his army were all massacred after attacking Jura Tempest, leading him no choice but to work alongside Diablo, a subordinate of Rimuru Tempest, the ruler of the Jura Tempest Federation.
He is voiced by Eiji Hanawa in his original body and by Chiaki Kobayashi after possessing Shogo's body in Japanese. In English, in his original body, he was voiced by R. Bruce Elliott and by Matt Shipman after possessing Shogo's body in English.
Personality[]
Razen is a sociopathic man that shows no regard and regrets to randomly summon peoples from other worlds resulting in his victims being called the "Otherworlders". He also display a certain level of enjoyment while summoning his victims. Furthermore with the victims he summoned, he is willing to make them his slaves and servants. Their lives unfortunately make their final destiny with being given as a sacrifice for primarily to give himself more power and other reasons at his own advantages. Not only he claim their lives, he also completely erase their souls, showing how twisted of an individual Razen is.
Outside of his stony hearted personality, he is actually loyal with those he serves such as the King Edmaris and later on Diablo.
