The Rebels are one of the major antagonists, and villainous bosses of the 2022 horror Roblox game, Evade.
They are voiced by the creator of the game, OsterDog.
Appearance[]
The Rebels appear to be humanoids with pale yellowish skin and the default Roblox smile face. They wear a gray cap, and a collared shirt with suspenders, along with black and red pads on their lower arms. A distinct red band is worn around their left shoulder. They also wear dark blue pants with knee pads, black boots and gloves. A Mil-Grade Pack is worn on their back.

Evade[]
The Rebels are special AIs that attempt to gun down players, their speed. They have their own special rounds, Incursion that was formerly called Military Incursion, and the removed one, Armed Incursion that formerly appeared in VIP servers.
These enemies may be categorized as not being nextbots, as they have a humanoid rig. They're armed with a Silenced Pistol and formerly a Silenced SMG, but in the removed gamemode Player Nextbots, the players that play as the Rebels, they are the most commonly armed with Silenced Pistol due to a weapon having too many bullets. The recoil is very strong and nobody can dodge the bullets.
The Rebels were formerly hostile towards the Nextbots, but are still hostile towards the Troopers and the Interlopers. They have -25% speed boost and 125 HP.
They are often in groups and approach the nearest player as every normal nextbot would. Once a player is in their line of sight with no obstructions, they will proceed to open fire on the player. Their range is presumed to be unlimited as they can shoot players from distant ranges. Unlike other nextbots, they back away from the player should they get too close to them. Every so often, the Rebels will reload their firearm giving a chance for the player to get away and retaliate and attack. They can sometimes crouch to hold their position.

Trivia[]
- The Rebels are one of the few damage sources that do not immediately kill players, another way being to jump into the ice in the map, Crossroads, the lava in Scorching Outpost and the water in the Icebreaker.
- Although Rebels are very slow, they have many clones of themself whenever spawned and take off 25% of health whenever a player gets near them.
- There is a cosmetic of the Rebel from the daily store but it is a blue version that is simply called Defect Rebel.
- The quote "The UEC isn't here to save you now..." is a reference to Tower Blitz, a tower defense game created by the developers of Evade.
- The UEC stands for United Earth Command, which is the players' and towers' faction in Tower Blitz.
- As of September 29, 2023, the AI of the Rebels got broken due to a Roblox Humanoid Update, but their AI has been eventually fixed on October 13, 2024 during the Overhaul update, they can now turn in different directions.
- They're no longer hostile towards the Nextbots, as seen in VIP servers.
- The Rebels are the first AIs in the game.
- They were added to the game on September 24, 2022 in an Unusual Update.
- There's a plush of the Rebel, comes from the recently launched product called Wolf Rebel plushie product sold by Hexagon Development Community.
