Red Bomberman is one of the secondary antagonists of Bomberman (TG-16) and Bomberman '93, and a recurring character from the Bomberman video game series.
He is introduced as a villain and a member of the Black Bomberman's gang, along with Blue, Green and Yellow, but after the two games, they redeemed and appear as heroes in the rest of the games.
He mainly appears as a skin in the multiplayer mode.
Biography
Bomberman (TG-16)
Red Bomberman is first seen in this game along with his colleagues, after Black Bomberman kidnapped Dr. Mitsumori's daughter, Lisa, and escaped to the Mechanical Castle.
In the final battle, Red Bomberman attempts to defeat White Bomberman. He moves quickly and randomly, however can not place bombs, but still harm White via collision. If he lines up horizontally or vertically with Bomberman, he will speed up and move in his direction as long as Bomberman is in his sight.
Also, he can transform into a fireball. In his fireball form, he is invincible to the bombs, and shoots one or two fireballs in random directions. He can detonate bombs via contact with his body, or the balls' collision.
He takes two hits to defeat and is worth 1000 points.
Bomberman '93
In the final battle, Red and his colleagues approach White Bomberman with their motorcycles. Later, Red gives order to the others and they attempt to kill White again.
He moves quickly and randomly, charging at Bomberman on sight and harming him on collision. And, he places a land mine bomb, which has a fire range of one.
He takes two hits to defeat and is worth 2000 points.
