The Red Dead Online Protagonist is the main protagonist of the spin off 2019 multiplayer Red Dead Online.
Biography[]
In 1898, the Red Dead Online protagonist is first introduced when Philip LeClerk is murdered and the protagonist was accused of his murder and was sent to Sisika, where they were to spend six months in manual labor before their execution.
One week before their execution, the protagonist was saved by Horley and two other men who intercepted the wagon that was transporting the protagonist. The protagonist followed Horley to a campsite where they met Jessica LeClerk, the widowed wife of the man the protagonist was accused of the killing. Jessica knows the protagonist is innocent and decides to work alongside them to catch the real culprits and avenge her husband. After that, the protagonist meets JB Cripps, who helps the protagonist establish their new camp and their location for it. Horley instructs them to see Alden Carruthers at a post office then visit Clay Davies to work alongside them.
Later on, Horley and Jessica find out where her husband's killer, Teddy Brown is at Fort Mercer. The group fights off the outlaws with ballistic armor until Teddy Brown himself comes out with his own set of ballistic armor. After he is defeated, Jessica demands answers from Brown, who refuses to answer, to which prompts Jessica to kill him, avenging her husband.

- The events of Red Dead Online take place in the year 1898 and the player can choose to be anywhere between eighteen and sixty years old, meaning they were born in 1880 at the earliest and 1838 at the latest.
- The male protagonist is about 180 cm (5ft 9 inches) tall and can weigh between 70 Kg to 115 Kg (154 to 253 Pounds).
- The female protagonist is about 166 cm (5ft 4 inches) tall and can weigh between 52 Kg to 64 Kg (114 to 141 Pounds).
