The Red Fox is a minor character of the 2022 roguelike action-adventure game Cult of the Lamb. He is a mysterious fox that can be met in certain zones during the nighttime to do a side quest.
Personality[]
The Red Fox is a mysterious and unsettling individual. He's shown to be ruthless and is not only aware of that, but seems to enjoy it.
He is shown to be always hungry and enjoys the darkness.
As the quests go on, he seems to take a liking to the Lamb, considering them as cruel as himself, while he dislikes Ratau because he considers him weak.
Biography[]
Little to nothing is known about the Red Fox's past. However, what is known is that he and Ratau knew each other. It's also implied that he killed the leader of the Lighthouse Keepers since they warned her about "Teeth in the Darkness" before she disappeared.
The Red Fox can be met by the Lamb at the various locations during the night, asking the Lamb for something to eat in return for pieces of a Holy Talisman. The first time, he will ask for a fish; the second, for a follower; the third, for either two followers or half-heart; the fourth, he will ask for Ratau. Should all his requests be satisfied, not only he will give all the pieces of the Holy Talisman, but the wolf follower skin too.
