Red Noob and Blue Noob are major characters in the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as the secondary antagonists of the game's prologue, Hello World! and supporting characters of of the game's third chapter, All Hallows' Eve.
They are a pair of noobs that work as minions to the Griefer, and assist him in his quest to obtain the Venomshank. They are also the niblings of Noobador, who is their uncle and boss, and the children of Green Noob and Purple Noob. In the prologue, they battle the player after confronting an injured Shedletsky and later call upon Noobador for help. They eventually reappear in Chapter 3 to assist the player to defeat their abusers Green Noob and Purple Noob, giving the player a card afterwards to summon them for all their future battles.
Appearance[]
Red and Blue have simplistic noob avatars with their skin colors matching with their respective names, and wield the same swords with their respective color.
Blue Noob is confirmed to be female by the game's dialogue, although Red Noob's gender is currently unknown, but it’s mostly agreed that he may be male.
Personality[]
When first introduced in the prologue, Red and Blue seem to be arrogant bullies, teasing Shedletsky as he was previously beaten up by somebody else, with the duo ganging up on him after to get credit. After their defeat, they seem to be very sore about their loss, and call upon their boss Noobador to fight the player so that they can fulfil their revenge against them, even vowing that they will eventually defeat them after losing once again.
Chapter 3 reveals why they act as the arrogant fighters, as they were once implied to have been abused by their parents, Green Noob and Purple Noob, and looked down upon by them, as they continued to push their children into a criminal lifestyle. So once them and the player team up to defeat the two, they drop their grudge against them and give the player a card to summon them during a battle.
It is noted throughout the story that a core aspect that is maintained in Red Noob and Blue Noob's personalities, are that the two truly care for each other, and are confident in their fighting skills. According to Noobador in Chapter 3, despite the duo initially appearing as antagonistic, he reveals that they have good intentions at heart.
Biography[]
In Roblox HQ, the player finds Red and Blue ganging up on Shedletsky after someone else (presumably Noobador) had beaten him up. The two notice their presence behind them and introduce themselves, before battling the player. The duo lose to them and soon make a hasty retreat, later telling their boss Noobador about the player. Red and Blue later appear in the meadows alongside Noobador, who is furious over the player hurting the duo, and battle against the three commences. The three are defeated and Red and Blue have to retreat again, not before they vow revenge on the player.
The duo later appear in Chapter 3, where they are fighting off a hoard of bandits to protect Noobador, who is conducting the train they are on. They once again encounter the player and mistake them for another bandit, before the two discuss about the player being the one who Shedletsky called. However, another bandit shows up, and since Noobador is busy conducting the train and cannot help them battle the bandit, they reluctantly agree to team up with the player to defeat them. After the fight, Red and Blue's parents, Green Noob and Purple Noob appear, revealing themselves as the masterminds behind the entire infiltration, and battle the duo alongside the player. Green and Purple are defeated and Noobador knocks the two out, before apologizing to the player for misunderstanding the whole Shedletsky situation, since Red and Blue are good people at heart, but are sometimes difficult to understand, with Green and Purple endorsing criminality on them for years.
When the player arrives at Spooksville, Red and Blue show up to thank them for defeating their abusers, and apologize for their actions that happened in the prologue. As a token of their appreciation, they give the player a card to call them in all future battles before leaving per Noobador's request.
Red and Blue can later be refought in the Pit on the ninth floor alongside Noobador, but outside of that, this doesn't affect the story.

- Blue Leg Stab: Blue walks up to her target and stabs her sword into the ground near the player.

- Duo Slice: Blue Noob hops off of Red Noob and slices the targeted enemy in front of her, ignoring their defense level.
- Duo Stab: Red Noob gains leverage from Blue Noob and slide tackles the targeted enemy.

- Red Noob and Blue Noob are inspired from the Red & Blue Goombas from Paper Mario.
- According to Green Noob and Purple Noob during Chapter 2, Red Noob and Blue Noob were the last minute replacements for them as the Griefer's minions.
- In the background of the pre-prologue, older versions of Red and Blue seen mourning somebody's grave in the distance. That grave likely belongs to Noobador considering how close Red and Blue were to him.
