The Red Tiger Elite is a minor antagonist in the 2D action-platforming game Nine Sols, serving as the game's first boss.
Biography[]
For a number of years, the Red Tiger Elite assisted in guarding the machine responsible for harvesting the bodies of the human breeding farm built atop the facility. When a human is "selected by God", they are granted access to "God's realm", which in reality is just a meat grinder used to turn the bodies into energy. After Yi disrupts the process by saving a child that was supposed to be sacrificed, the Red Tiger Elite attempts to stop Yi from leaving.
They block the exit, challenging Yi to a fight in hopes of killing him to resume control over the machine. Using their wings, they fly up, slamming their giant cleaver into the ground creating shockwaves that push Yi away. However, using the power of Chi, Yi is eventually able to defeat the Elite guard, and take the lift upwards, presumably out of the facility, or perhaps just to another part of it.
