Redwing is a minor antagonist in the 2024 film Transformers One. She is a member of the High Guard and one of Starscream's Seekers. Like the rest of the High Guard, after D-16 usurps Starscream, she joins him as a Seeker of the re-branded Decepticons.
Appearance[]
Redwing is primarily black with bright red paneling, most of which resides on her chest; the center of her chest is made of a yellow cockpit. True to her name, she has large red wings on her back; these wings also have yellow accents. Being a Seeker, she has two missiles on her forearms. Her helmet is black, though her head is chrome with a yellow visor.
Her alt-mode is a fighter jet-style plane with her same color scheme.
History[]
Like the rest of the Seekers, Redwing was once a member of the Cybertronian High Guard, participating in the war against the Quintessons. However, the guard was betrayed by Sentinel sometime after his rise to power. Vowing revenge, Redwing and her allies hid on Cybetron's desolate surface. While in exile, the High Guard would become corrupted and adopt a "might makes right" mentality, with Starscream keeping his title as their leader.
50 cycles later, the Seekers would be met by D-16 and his allies. After making an example out of Starscream, D-16 would become the usurper leader of the High Guard. Before he could take charge, however, the base was invaded by Airachnid. Many were either killed or taken to Sentinel, though Redwing managed to survive.
After an arousing speech by Orion Pax, Redwing participated in the battle of Iacon, helping fight off Sentinel's forces and expose his true nature to Cybertron. However, when D-16, now calling himself Megatron, killed Sentinel and ordered the High Guard to destroy Iacon, Redwing had no problems complying. After the attack failed, Redwing and the rest of the guard were banished from Iacon. She was last seen during Megatron's speech to the High Guard, now known as the Deceptions.

- Unlike the G1 incarnation of Redwing, who is male, this Redwing was portrayed as female.
