Reiko Ayanokouji is the head of the Super Science Network and one of the three main antagonists (alongside Bill Goldy and George Makabe) of Tokusou Robo Janperson.
She is portrayed by Atsuko Takahata, who also played Gilza in Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion and Maribaron in Kamen Rider BLACK RX.
Biography[]
Reiko Ayanokouji was originally the child of two biologists who lived in a space station, where they kept a garden of rare plants. When the space station was struck by a military satellite however, Reiko was placed in the station's only remaining escape pod and sent to Earth by her parents, while they perished as the station exploded. After arriving on Earth, Reiko was taken in by a colleague of her father. Her only keepsake from her parents was a petri dish containing Himeharu grass but, as the Earth was too polluted, Reiko found she could not plant them. This led Reiko to develop a hatred for humanity and, as an adult, found the Super Science Network to achieve her goal of wiping out humanity and restoring the Earth to its former beauty.
Reiko and her Super Science Network surfaced some time after the fall of Guild and after Janperson defeated the assassins sent by the Tatewaki Konzern to eliminate him. Deeming Janperson a threat to her plans, Reiko declared her organization's intention to eliminate the investigative robot.
The first subordinate of Reiko's to volunteer a plan was Dr. Shiina, who devised a scheme to convince Sukezo Kudo, a man who had gained ice powers after being trapped in a freezer for a year, to allow the SS-N to perform a surgery on him that would amplify his powers before sending him out to destroy Janperson. However, Janperson managed to defeat the Iceman, leading Reiko to punish Shiina for his failure. Instead of using the remote Shiina had given her to execute him however, Reiko opted to instead simply drop Shiina in a bottomless pit.
The next subordinate of Reiko's to propose a plan was Dr. Saionji, who devised a scheme to frame Janperson by using the Memory Foam he had developed to change his appearance to that of wanted criminal Machinegun Joe. However, Janperson managed to break into Saionji's lab and find the antidote for it, while Saionji himself was arrested after his Memory Foam backfired and changed his appearance to that of Joe. Reiko was unconcerned by his defeat, deeming him another failure.
Eventually, Reiko underwent a process to mutate herself so she could finally achieve her vision. In her new "Super Beast God" form, Reiko went on a rampage and began turning humans into fertilizer with which to rejuvenate the Earth. She was met by Janperson and Gun Gibson, but easily fought them off. Janperson and Gun Gibson would later meet the scientist who had taken in Reiko and raised her, and learned of her past from him. As Reiko continued her rampage, the two went out with the scientist to face her again. Reiko assumed her Super Beast God and used it to disintegrate the scientist who had raised her, before fighting Janperson and Gun Gibson again.
Reiko beat back both robots, forcing them to flee back to Kaoru and devise a strategy to stop Reiko. The two would later make another attempt to stop her, only for the Super Beast God to seemingly destroy Gun Gibson and capture Janperson and Kaoru. Imprisoning them within a cell inside the SS-N's HQ, Reiko explained her motives to Janperson and Kaoru before summoning her remaining researchers into the room. Reiko would then use her Super Beast God form to disintegrate them all, as she intended to kill all humans to restore the Earth to its former beauty. This left Reiko with her combatants as her only remaining followers. However, it was then that Gun Gibson burst in and freed Janperson and Kaoru. Janperson and Gun Gibson fought Reiko and her grunts, with their fight leading them outside. The two were able to combine their powers to defeat the SS-N soldiers and critically wound Reiko. Reiko then retreated back into the SS-N building and reverted to her human form, she then noticed projector containing a reel she had recorded as a child of her time in her parents' space station and put it on, dying while reliving the time she had spent with her parents in space. Upon dying, Reiko reverted to how she appeared normally, losing her white face paint and red dress.
