The unnamed leader of the Resistance is the secondary antagonist of Season 1 of the Dan the Man web series and its video game adaptation.
He is an enigmatic ninja and member of the Resistance who is supposed to fight for freedom and justice of peasants, before revealing himself as the power-hungry traitor.
Appearance[]
The leader is a classic ninja who does not have difference from others. But in the final, he takes the King's crown, and rips part of the clothes of himself, becoming more significant.
Biography[]
After the Resistance dominates the fortress and catches the King, the leader suddenly kills him, takes his crown, and goes to find the Advisor. Later, the Geezer tries to stop him, but doesn't succeed and the fallen leader kills him too. After that, he goes to the roof.
Series Ending[]
Dan goes to the roof and confronts the Advisor, who holds Josie as hostage. Some time later, Josie tries to get rid of him and starts to hit him, and while Dan is going for help, the 'king' comes and kills the three by shooting them. Later, throws his gun down and tears his clothes, while screaming. While he is screaming, the bald Geezer comes and shoots him repeatedly. But the king doesn't die and takes the detonator, destroys the entire fortress with himself. The stage would reset, and Dan is once again faced with the decision of siding with the Resistance or the Villagers. He would choose the Resistance again, repeating the events.
Stage 9[]
He makes an appearance in ninth stage after the reset. Dan, having finally learnt his lesson, sides with the Villagers and beats up the future King Resistance, scaring the red ninjas away while the Villagers cheer.
Game Ending[]
The player goes to the roof and encounters the Advisor while holding the Geezer as hostage, and Dan/Josie, while aiming at him. While they are yelling at the each other, the 'king' comes and kills the two, and the bald Geezer, and does his symbolic hail. The player attempts to beat him, but he dodges the attacks and tears his clothes, starting to scream. Later, he jumps down and takes the gigantic robot, attempts to kill the player. But the player manages to destroy the robot, and the 'king' takes the detonator and destroys the fortress.
