Eobard Thawne, also known as the Reverse Flash, is a supporting antagonist in Injustice 2, the second installment in the Injustice franchise.
He is a sadistic speedster who murdered Barry's mother and proceeded to torment him for the rest of his life. At one point after traveling back in time, the Regime killed one of his ancestors, trapping Eobard in the past since he couldn't return to his future, causing him to join Grodd's Society.
He is voiced by Liam O'Brien.

Eobard is evil, sarcastic, arrogant and outrightly sadistic. In almost every interactions with other characters, he either taunts them, mocks them or threatens them. He also possesses a grudge against the Regime for killing one of his ancestors. As with every other versions of the Reverse Flash, he hates Barry and wishes nothing else than torment him for ever and ever.
Biography[]
Pre-Injustice 2[]
Eobard Thawne time traveled from his future to the past in order to torment Barry Allen. At some point after his time travel, the Regime killed one of his ancestors, trapping him in a time paradox and unable to go back to his future. He later joined Grodd's Society, possibly out of vengeance.

Eobard makes a sudden appearance in Gotham City kicking the Flash after the latter defeated Deadshot. When the Flash told him he didn't belong here, Eobard simply taunted back prior to punch Barry. After the red speedsters tries to flee, Reverse Flash chases across the country before managing to stop him and beat him. After the Flash told him to go back to his time, Eobard angrily replies he can't since the Regime killed one of his ancestors before deciding to fight Barry. He is defeated and flees the scene.

Eobard later appears when Wonder Woman is in Metropolis, running in circles around her and punching her relentlessly. Once Captain Cold appeared, Reverse Flash stopped his beating so that Cold freezes Diana. The latter, however, uses her shield to deflect the ice blast, freeing Eobard instead.
After Cold's defeat, Eobard unfreezes himself. Wonder Woman told him what Barry said about him, that he was "some kind of time traveler." The yellow speedster confirms this and also tells Diana that she is dead in his future prior to fighting her. Wonder Woman defeats him before telling him that he is no oracle and leaves prior to her encounter with Scarecrow.
