Demi Bennett better known as Rhea Ripley is an Australian professional wrestler from the WWE. She is a former member of The Judgment Day,partner of Dominik Mysterio and was formerly the Women's World Champion.
Ripley joined WWE in 2017. After a run on the NXT brand from 2019 to 2021, she joined The Judgment Day in 2022. She is a former one-time Raw Women's Champion and a former one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion (with Nikki A.S.H.). She is also the first female Australian champion in WWE history. Additionally, she was the fourth wrestler and the first woman to win a Royal Rumble match as the number one entrant and also set a record for longest time spent in the women's Rumble match at 1:01:08 (which was subsequently broken by Bayley during the 2024 Royal Rumble at 1:03:03).
She was born on 11 October 1996 in Adelaide, South Australia. Ripley began to work in Riot City Wrestling in 2013. She spent several years in the promotion, where she became a two-time RCW Women's Champion.
On Night 1 of WrestleMania 39 on 1 April, Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair to win the title. With this win, Ripley became the seventh Women's Triple Crown champion, the fifth Women's Grand Slam champion, and the youngest Grand Slam champion (male or female) in WWE history at 26.
On February 24 at Elimination Chamber: Perth in her home country of Australia, Ripley successfully defended her title in the main event against Nia Jax.
After defeating Becky at Wrestlemania 40, she was badly injured by Liv Morgan and had to vacant the title. At SummerSlam on August 3, Ripley was unsuccessful in regaining the Women's World Championship from Morgan, after interference from Dominik, giving Ripley her first pinfall loss since May 2022. After the match, Dominik kissed Morgan, turning on Ripley. On the following episode of Raw, Bálor excommunicated Priest and Ripley from the group and added Morgan and Carlito Later that night, Priest was attacked during his match against Judgment Day member JD McDonagh before Ripley came out to save him.
