The Rhino Canth is a minor antagonist in Choudenshi Bioman, appearing in Episode 6 as a major antagonist. He is a Mecha-Gigan under command of the Neo Empire Gear. He was created by Doctor Man and assisted Farrah and Aquaiger with the Doctor Man's plan to release the toxic gas in the mountains and kill the population of Kanto region of Japan.

Biography

Rhino Canth was sent by Doctor Man to the mountain to launch in the launch pod. Doctor Man planned to release a toxic gas that would be enough to kill off the Kanto region of Japan. The main ability of this Canth was to involve burrowing underground, allowing for it to set up the special Metrium Steel Chains to bind Bio Robo. He also had a nasal horn for goring and smaller rocket propelled horns on the scalp. Mika saw the launch pod made it's landing and, believing it to be a UFO, took pictures. She sent the pictures to her team and departed to the UFO, But then the Yellow4 noticed something suspicious in the grounds. Yellow4 decided to take an action and stop the plan of the Gear, but it was merely Farrah's ruse, as the Mecha-Gigan burrowed underground and set up special Metrium Steel Chains to be released once Bio Robo was in the right spot to stop the supposed plot. Down below, Rhino Canth drilled onto the ceiling and placed poison gas in them. He also placed booby traps in the ceiling to capture the Bio Robo. Mika walked across a bridge to avoid the gas, but got ambushed by Farrah and Farrah Cat. Mika transformed into Yellow4, but Aquaiger attacked, until the rest of the Biomen arrived. Farrah and Farrah Cat disappeared and Aquaiger escapes. Mika heard the underground drilling again and leaves to try and stopped Gear on her own. Mike sneaked into the base, disarmed the switched the box, and stole it. Gear cornered Mika, but the rest of the Biomen arrived and Mika destroyed the switch box. After the team defeated the Mechaclones, Aquaiger arrived with a spare switch box. The Biomen defeated Aquaiger with the Bio Miracle Wave, but Farrah activated the gas. The Bio Jets combined to form the Bio Robo. Bio Robo used rocks to seal the gas cave and blocked the gas, but got captured by the booby trap. Rhino Canth grew larger to destroy Bio Robo, but the team of Biomen ultimately concentrated on moving the right hand of the mecha to allow for the leverage to stand up once again and crush the minions that were binding it and Bio Robo broke free. After the Gear's plot failed, Rhino Canth faced Bio Robo in combat, but after a brief fight, Bio Robo easily destroyed Rhino Canth with the Straight Flush.
