Rhinomite is one of the two main antagonists of Season 2 of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Camp Crush cartoon series along with his best friend, Motosaurus. He and Motosaurus got upset that the Camp Crush Crew had trespassed on Mayhem Mountain, who he had claimed was their home. He and Motosaurus entered the Champion's Cup challenge of that season, where they would lose. Motosaurus would then betray Rhinomite not only because they lost, but also due to the fact that Rhinomite treated him horribly, and teamed up with the Camp Crush Crew to take out Crushzilla. Rhinomite, having learned from the error of his ways, joined the crew as well. After that, he and Motosaurus became members of the Camp Crush Crew themselves and are still members to this day. He is voiced by Bill Butts.
Biography[]
Rhinomite and Motosaurus once lived in Mayhem Mountain on Monster Truck Island, located in the desert. Once the Camp Crush Crew arrived for Camp Crush purposes however, Rhinomite and Motosaurus weren't happy that they trespassed, so they took matters into their own hands, and set up a lot of deadly traps throughout the desert. After Tiger Shark gets trapped in their cave, they lure him towards their location, revealing themselves to be the ones behind everything.
They are then let into the Champion's Cup competition along with some of the other Camp Crush Crew members. They barely manage to get through the first challenge, but Rhinomite chews Motosaurus out because Motosaurus climbed up the tower to get up on top instead of launching himself far enough (although that was Rhinomite's fault). They ultimately end up losing the second due to Rhinomite getting too cocky and messing up. Motosaurus ends up betraying him due to the fact that Rhinomite treated him horribly, and out of pure anger for losing the challenge. After Crushzilla attacks, Motosaurus teams up with the Camp Crush Crew to beat him, and asks Rhinomite to go with him, but Rhinomite declines out of shame. Rhinomite eventually comes to his senses however, and helps the crew beat him. After Crushzilla gets defeated, he and Motosaurus join the crew, putting an end to their evil ways.
Personality[]
Rhinomite's known to be very cocky and aggressive, always wanting to be the head of everything. He can be a jerk due to this side of him, even towards Motosaurus, who he considers his best friend. He likes to show off and put plans together himself, and usually has to get convinced to stop with a plan that he makes. He has the confidence of a god, and to an extent, the talent to back it up most of the time. He will always go all out to accomplish his goals, no matter what it takes. Even during his time as a hero, his villainous sides of his character can side sometimes, as when he forms a rivalry with Tiger Shark in season 3, where he lets his aggressive and cocky side of his character shine. He can also be sarcastic when he feels like he's right, such as in the season 3 finale where he sarcastically calls out Mega-Wrex for not thinking through his plan.

He still has good traits however. His sarcastic nature and criticisms are usually meant to just have people see the error of their ways. He can be kind, especially towards not just Motosaurus, but also his fellow trucks. He likes to stand up for what he believes in, and is very defensive of what he cares for. He also genuinely feels remorse for his actions if he hurts someone or something, as when he fails to accomplish his goals in season 2, he feels remorse for screwing up and also feels bad for being a jerk to Motosaurus. He deeply cares for others, just his cocky nature can get the best of him.

Rhinomite's name is meant to be the words "rhino" and "dynamite" mashed together. His main paint job is cobalt blue. His hood contains a massive horn, which can be useful for bashing objects, with the number 68 on him, with flames and a long racing stripe that goes all the way back to his tail on the back. His sides contain of more flames, which go over his fenders and his "eyes". His windshield and windows form a head, complete with "eyes" and a "mouth" with an angry expression. His logo is featured on both sides of him above his rear fenders. His tailgate contains his dynamite stick logo, as well as the number 68. He has a white tail on the back, with the number 68 and flames across it. He has a orange roll cage, a black chassis, and black tires with orange rims.
