~ Ri'kan's villainous breakdown as he confronts Sa'har for her betrayal. |
Ri'kan Kateen is the secondary antagonist of the Star Wars: The Old Republic BioWare MMORPG expansion Legacy of the Sith. He is a Force-sensitive Mandalorian Twi'lek who served as the right-hand man of Heta Kol, and a member of her inner circle of the Hidden Chain.
He lived at the Mek-Sha Home for Lost Children, with his younger sister, Sa'har, during the time of the Old Republic. Ri'kan's connection to the Force was not as strong as his sister's. At some point, Sa'har was taken by Jedi Master Denolm Orr to be trained as a Jedi, but she was forced to leave Ri'kan behind due to her brother's weaker connection to the Force. Ri'kan would later become a Mandalorian and at some point became disenfranchised with the current Mandalorians, and joined Heta Kol's Hidden Chain, who opposed Mandalore the Avenger during the third Galactic War.
He is voiced by Matthew Mercer, who also voiced Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate/Zero, Anarky in Batman: Arkham Origins, Aiden in Minecraft: Story Mode, and Mr. Freeze in Batman: The Enemy Within.
History[]
Ri'kan grew up with his sister Sa'har Kateen in the Mek-Sha Home for Lost Children years before the third Galactic War. As both were Force-sensitive, they were discovered by the Jedi Order, with Jedi Master Denolm Orr visiting them and choosing Sa'har to be his Jedi Padawan. Ri'kan was left behind and later became a slave, before eventually being liberated by Field Marshal Heta Kol. In the years since, Ri'kan became a Mandalorian and the second-in-command of the Hidden Chain.
