Ribbonaur is a villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a colossal ribbon monster who wants to giftwrap the entire city of Splittsboro. He is formed whenever somebody fails to cut all the ceremonial ribbon, when opening a new facility. He appeared in "The Amazing Super Chores".
Biography[]
In "The Amazing Super Chores", Eric had a laundry list of chores that he had to do for Maxum Man. The most important chore on this list, for some reason, was doing a series of ceremonial ribbon cuttings for various new facilities around Splittsboro. However, Eric failed to see the importance of doing this and decided to blow off his chores. This caused all of the uncut ceremonial ribbons to come to life and band together, forming a colossal monster named Ribbonaur, that went around, trapping all of the people, cars, and buildings in Splittsboro in ribbons.
Eric ended up getting in huge trouble for not cutting these ribbons and now it was up to him to take care of it by himself. Eric took out his giant hologram scissors and went to battle with Ribbonaur, slicing his limbs off. Eventually, Ribbonaur knocked the scissors out of Eric's hands and smashed them with a car. When Eric tried to use them again, he could not pull up the scissors because the holographic projector was broken. It seemed that Ribbonaur had won this one. However, Eric still found that he could access a holographic iron, which he used to iron Ribbonaur flat, thereby incapacitating and ultimately defeating him.
At the end of the episode, Vana thought it would be a bright idea to use a strip of Ribbonaur to wear in her hair to look pretty, thinking this would be harmless as Eric had already defeated him. However, this hair ribbon of hers came to life as a little tiny Ribbonaur revival and started to wreak havoc once again.
