Ricardo is a major antagonist in the manga and anime series Kinnikuman Nisei, serving as the secondary antagonist of the Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection arc. He was raised as a Justice Chojin in Brazil, but he later becomes an Evil Chojin after learning the origins of his heritage. In battle, Ricardo's only goal is to win. He has no desire to join either the good or the evil Chojin. Aside from that, he appears to enjoy death matches because he kept attacking Jade even after the towel was thrown in.

In the anime, he was voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa in the Japanese dub, and by Wayne Grayson in the English dub.

Biography

Early life

Ricardo was born and raised in Brazil by his parents, who were both members of the dMp. He was given a disguise by his parents in order to be trained by a submission artist named Master Pashango. However, he eventually found out about Ricardo's true identity as a member of the dMp and tried to kill him, which led to his own demise when Ricardo use his signature move, the Torture Slash, on him. Ricardo passes it off as an accident.

Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection Arc

Ricardo became popular in Brazil and eventually competed in the preliminary round to represent Brazil at the Chojin Olympics. As many other Chojin engaged in similarly brutal combat, Ricardo's brutal fighting style was not admired, which sheds a lot of light on how vicious heroes can be to one another when it comes to glory. In this form, he defeats The Skyscraper in the opening round of the actual competition. When his body cracks open, his true form is revealed as the Lord of Darkness.

He later faces Jade in Round 2 of the finals. The German Chojin made a super-strong move on him that revealed, like Master Pashango did, his true form—a horrifying monster. At that point, Jade and everyone else watching the game realized the horrifying truth: Ricardo is a pure evil person who is thought to be a dMp member. Shortly after, Ricardo used the Torture Slash move, which he had previously used on Pashango and The Skyscraper, to finish off Jade.

Ricardo and Mantaro Kinniku fought against each other in the semifinal match. Eventually, Ricardo is defeated by Mantaro Kinniku and is never seen again after that.
