Stringer's unnamed henchmen is a fictional character and minor antagonist of the British soap opera EastEnders, only appearing in April 2001.

He was portrayed by Tamer Hassan, who also played Ahmet in EastEnders and Fred in The Football Factory.

History[]

He is a unnamed gangster from Albert Square in Walford, a fictional borough in East London, who served as the right-hand man for local mob boss Richie Stringer prior to their arrival in mid-April 2001.

Soon enough, Richie is called by his acquaintance Phil Mitchell for a favour; Phil wishes to incriminate his arch-nemesis Dan Sullivan for shooting him despite the fact that it was Phil's ex-girlfriend Lisa Shaw who was the culprit, mainly due to Dan extorting money from him in revenge for conning his co-ownership of The Queen Victoria public house nearly a year ago. Richie agrees to help Phil due to the fact that Dan is one of Richie's errand boys, and that Richie is unhappy with Dan for unknown reasons. When Phil and Richie meet up to discuss their plan, Richie offers to send his unnamed henchmen to Phil's house for the plan to be discussed.

Later on, Stringer's henchman arrives just as Phil's archenemy Steve Owen is leaving the house after visiting Phil to taunt him about the shooting. Stringer's unnamed henchmen exchanges a threatening glance with Steve before entering Phil's house to discuss their plan against Dan. When they are alone, Phil gives Stringer's henchmen the gun belonging to Steve that Lisa used to shoot him; the plan is Stringer will give Dan the gun under the guise of ordering him to extort money from Phil, when in reality it is all part of Phil's plan to frame Dan for shooting him as the police will be led to believe that the gun used to shoot Phil belongs to Dan. When he is given the gun and the instructions, Stringer's henchman goes to leave and crosses paths with Jamie when doing so. Jamie then asks Phil who the man was, but Phil brushes him off in order to keep his plan against Dan totally discreet from his godson.

The next day, Stringer's henchman is present when Stringer himself summons Dan for a meet-up to discuss their 'plan' against Phil. It is then Stringer orders his henchman to give Dan the gun to use against Phil. Later on that night, Stringer's henchman is sent by his boss to accompany Dan in extorting money from Phil at his garage. Stringer's henchman listens as Dan outlines his plan against Phil and explains their history about how Dan and Phil started out as friends before becoming enemies with each other. Eventually Dan goes to confront Phil after the latter reports him to the police. While this is happening, Stringer's henchman abandons him by driving off as per-instructed by his boss and Phil himself. Then Dan is left to get arrested by the arriving police.
